Umaga may have decimated CM Punk at Judgment Day, but it seems The Samoan Bulldozer still isn’t finished with Mr. Money in the Bank. The 350-pound savage has challenged The Straightedge Superstar to a Samoan Strap Match at Extreme Rules.
The Samoan Bulldozer has been attacking Punk week after week during his matches. He’s stopped Punk from cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase, thwarting his attempts to face Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship on SmackDown. Despite bulldozing his way through Mr. Money in the Bank at Judgment Day, the savage is thirsty for another battle.
During Punk’s recent match against Chris Jericho on SmackDown, Umaga ran into the ring and attacked The Straightedge Superstar, tying him to the ringpost with a Samoan Strap. Then, he shockingly took the microphone from ring announcer Justin Roberts and offered Punk a challenge.
“You think you’re hurt now? Wait until Extreme Rules because I’m issuing you a challenge … It will be a Samoan Strap Match!” Umaga yelled as Punk was left defenseless in the corner.
The Samoan Bulldozer continued his brutal, animalistic assault on Mr. Money in the Bank, kicking and whipping him. But will Punk continue to be Umaga’s victim? Or will Mr. Money in the Bank finally beat Umaga at his own game – the Samoan Strap Match – at Extreme Rules? Find out live on June 7 at 8/7 CT, only on pay-per-view.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules - CM Punk vs Umaga - Samoan Strap Match
Umaga talking was weird but I won't judge it yet, since he has no manager it could be what helps him get to the top, especially since he is said to be very good on the mic.
Loving a strap match though.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules - CM Punk vs Umaga - Samoan Strap Match
This could be good, but as I think Steve said, it makes no sense how Umaga defeated Punk and then demanded a rematch. Even the way its worded in the preview makes Punk sound easy to beat.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules - CM Punk vs Umaga - Samoan Strap Match
Lol ok that's just nitpicking about how it's worded.
But how do you know it makes no sense? You can't really judge yet until the PPV comes. For all we know, Umaga is going to explain himself or something of the sort. It does seem random but since he is just NOW starting to talk, I think we should let it play out before complaining about it not making sense.
If Punk loses i riot.

No.. if their is some personal vendetta and he just wants to hurt Punk it'd make perfect sense To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules - CM Punk vs Umaga - Samoan Strap Match
But what on earth could this personal vendetta be. Punk and Umaga have never fueded. Punk isn't linked to a Diva that Umaga could say he liked. Punk has never beaten Umaga one on one. Unless Umaga's vendetta is simply that he thinks Punk smells, I don't get it.
If he'd challenged for the MITB contract it'd be different. But again (as with Kane) they've skipped right over that idea and moved on to making Punk look like he can't win when the chips are down. He's not being treated as badly as he was last year, but at least he was winning on PPV back then.

But Punk has the MITB. He should be winning left, right and centre to prepare him for a Title challenge. Win or lose that challenge, Punk needs to be built to look fantastic.

Exactly. That said, I am more pissed off with the Kane loss than the Umaga one, because this feud is continuing and HOPEFULLY Punk is going to win the feud and look better for it. The Kane loss was just weird as hell. Completely pointless. No Kane push and Punk misses out on the credibility a win would have given him. Punk is definitely looking like a big match choker at the moment, or at least somebody who is incapable of scoring a victory over monstrous opponents such as Kane and Umaga. He badly needs a win in this one, but the fact that Umaga won and then demanded another chance to beat the hell out of him just makes him look pretty bad imo.
He desperately needs big PPV wins soon.
