I won't deny that Kane has spent his career putting other guys over, but why end it by having Punk lose a pointless match. Kane challenged Punk to match after losing in the MITB at 'Mania, and being beat on Raw. At Backlash he won, what was a very good match (that was booked to look like Punk would win) but never followed up. The whole point was he'd lost in the MITB and wanted to avenge that loss, so why not challenge Punk to a match for the briefcase? It's almost exactly the same for Umaga. He's beat Punk, so if he's challenging for matches, challenge for the contract. It makes the MITB look better, it makes Punk look like he can win when the stakes are high, and it helps make the PPV loses Punk has thus far suffered worth something.

I want to think that this will be reminiscent of Sting/Vader- but I have this sneaking suspicion that they'll have Punk pull the JBL "covertly tag the corner after your opponent then switch places" trick, they way they've been booking him.

Man this match could make the ppv in my opinion. These guys just work, and if they are hitting each other with a strap itll be brutal. Both work stiff and hard, so I suspect theyll beat the hell outa each other.

And I agree Johnny. That would be a rout that would make sense. Punk outsmarting Umaga.

I don't like Strap Matches, but Punk and Umaga work well together, so maybe they can buck that trend.
