Mind explaining rather than being a fucking troll? There was great storytelling throughout the whole match. Big Show dominated the whole beginning of the match, because Cena was injured from the get go. It looked like the Big Show was going to finish what he started. Big Show's offense might have been a little boring, but it worked, and it had the crowd wanting Cena to make his comeback. Mission accomplished. Cena then started getting little offense in here and there, but it wasn't enough to over power Show. Cena was weakened down to much to hit the FU, so it looked like the only way he could win is to lock Show in the STF. He couldn't stretch out far enough, so it made the casual fan believe that Big Show was actually going to win. Finally, at the end, Cena got that last ounce of adreniline and hit Show with the FU to win. Cena could sold his injuries at the end a little more, but the whole match was booked perfectly, and both men did a pretty damn good job.

This was a good match but the incredibly stupid finish just killed it for me. First of all, Cena used to ropes to apply a submission move, when there was a rope break earlier in the match. Secondly, Show's foot slipped out of the ropes but he tapped out anyways.
Wow...

I didn't see a rope break in the match Brain. Maybe I missed it because I was watching with friends and chatting at the smae time, but I'm pretty certain I did see a moment where a rope break wasn't given when someone grabbed the ropes.
I thought that for what this was, it was a good match. I just don't like the slow pace or the pairing of Cena and Show. I also really liked the finish, I thought it was a clever idea (if poorly executed) and even though Shows foot came loose, Cena's Crossface looked brutal... For once.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules - John Cena vs Big Show - Submission Match
Well, this is my first post so I do not want to offend too many, but.
I have been a wrestling fan for over 40 years and have lately become more a fan of TNA than WWE simply because WWE has become so lame and predictable.
I certainly wanted to see how Cena would apply the STF and having read on the results section of the WWE site that he used the ropes I watched carefully to find to my dismay that JUST after Cena hooked Show's foot in the ropes and JUST before the director switches to a different camera you see Show's foot slip completely out of the rope and yet he still taps.
Guess what I should say is
I have been a wrestling fan for over 40 years
I am in Australia and of course the wrestling back then was the legendary Australian "World Championship Wrestling"
Years later, after this show died an unnatural death, Rockin Wrestling came of age as Hulk Hogan revived a shaky WWF.
We all know where things have gone since then, with the coming and going of WVW in the US and the WWF becoming the WWE.
Perhaps the name change is where wresling changed as well.
Entertainment is the game and Performers play thier parts.
I have watched, sadly as US fans in the WWE audiences cried as thier favorites were supposedly hurt as they seemed to actually believe the events as they played out. Good acting.
You all should have heard the things Vince McMahon said about US audiences on his first visit to Australiam things we here already knew.
OF COURSE I still enjoy watching WWE but I have, like many, become a fan of TNA with more action and more even matches.
Keep the action coming Vince. You have some good competition that will not go away as WCW did.

That's great and all, and I actually kind of see where you're coming from, but what does this post have to do with Cena vs Show?
