This is a discussion on Judgment Day Results And Discussion within the WWE Pay Per View forums, part of the Wrestling Forums category; It was probably a little bit better than their Rumble match....

I loved everything about the opener, except the finish. The way it built, Punk going over was the best way to end it. I have no idea how Punk's push is well served by having him look strong in defeat against Umaga, who is in my opinion, lower on the company ladder than Punk last PPV opponent, Kane.
Jack Swagger vs Christian was again fantastic. These two have so much chemistry it's ridiculous. I could watch them fued forever. Christian is hilarious in their promo's and Swagger continues to improve, and their matches are just brilliant and never repetative. They are helping elevate each other, the ECW Title and the ECW show each and everytime they face off. Awesome stuff.
The Benjamin/Morrison match had the wrong finish. Haas should've interfered costing JoMo the match in my opinion, as they are obviously continuing the fued, and the reason this all started was that Shelton can't seem to beat Morrison. It just made sense to me that he would cheat to win and Morrison would seek redemption. Also, it was a bit botchy at times. Both men can be excellent in ring, but Shelton seems constantly bored and Morrison is far from consistant.
The Miz's promo was good, but he's getting very over-rated on here. Don't get me wrong, I think he's fantastic, but he stumbled his lines and did nothing he hasn't done since The Draft, except get owned on the mic by face Santino (which by the way I marked liked a little bitch for). The segment was very good though, all things considered.
The IC Title match started a little shaky, but it built so well, and had just the right amount of time. It was possibly match of the night, and if not it was close second to Christian/Swagger.
The WWE Title match was just lame. No emotion in it at all. Batista should have been attacking like an uncaged Animal (pun intended) with Orton being calculating and picking his spots, waiting for Batista to fuck up. But no, again we got WM25, with Hunter replaced by Dave. Yippee...
And Flair's return? I'm bored already.
Cena/Show should have had Show going over. That's just common sense. I didn't enjoy the slow pace of the match, but it made sense. Cena winning didn't
Edge vs. Jeff was meh, in fact I really only paid attention when Matt interfered (hoping for a blow off Ladder match at One Night Stand) but it was better than their match at the Rumble.
It was probably the worst PPV so far this year from WWE, but it was better than anything TNA have produce in some time.
