If it wasn’t for Umaga, CM Punk may very well be the current World Heavyweight Champion.
Twice The Straightedge Superstar defeated World Heavyweight Champion Edge in non-title matches, twice he had the golden opportunity to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and twice he was blindsided and brutalized by The Samoan Bulldozer before he had the chance to take the championship from The Ultimate Opportunist.
These savage, unprovoked attacks have left CM Punk with no choice but to issue a challenge to Umaga for a one-on-one match at Judgment Day.
Anyone else would be insane to willingly invite a wrecking machine like Umaga into the ring, but Punk has clearly been pushed too far. He can either meet this destructive force head-on or continue looking over his shoulder, wondering when the 350-pound monster will strike again.
While the raw, unbridled power of Umaga is not to be taken lightly, Punk’s recent victories over the likes of Kane have proven he has the wits and agility to overcome some of WWE’s largest competitors. Will Mr. Money in the Bank’s educated feet lead him to victory in his hometown of Chicago or will he regret ever challenging the massive Samoan?
Find out at Judgment Day, only on Pay-Per View.

I'm actually looking forward to this match. I feel that these two can produce a pretty good match if given the time to do so. I'm a fan of both Umaga and Punk so really doesn't matter to me who goes over although since Punk is Mr.Money In The Bank, I think he should go over, he needs as much credibility as he can get if he's to be taken serious as a possible world champion, he wasn't taken seriously last time because he wasn't booked right. WWE has the chance to do it over again and so far they've done a better job than last time although Punk should not have lost at Backlash. They can fix that mistake here at Judgment Day, hopefully.

I'm looking forward to this one as well. Have these two ever had a match together? It's a nice contrast of styles and I'm curious what they're going to pull off.
Also, if Punk doesn't win or at the very least, look like he could have won, I will blow a head gasket.

No, these two haven't had a match before. This one will be the first between the two.

I know I've said this in other threads, but the fact that they had Kane go over Punk on PPV only for Punk to then defeat the World Champion and move onto a feud with Umaga is truly mind-boggling.
Anyway, it is good to see Umaga involved in something meaningful and it is good to see Punk in a feud which seems meaningful in some way. I think these two could work very well together and I hope they get the time to show what they can do in this one.
Obviously Punk needs to go over unless the feud is continuing and he isn't gonna be Champ for a while. It's in his hometown so I can't see him losing. A win against Umaga would give him a lot of momentum and would be great for his credibility, but why the hell did he lose to Kane in the middle of a push? So weird.
Oh and its also good to see a fresh match-up.

Punk/Joe had three matches but they were all excellent. I highly doubt this would be nearly as good as that but I do agree, this could easy steal the show. Looking forward to it.
