Man Triple H gets a lot more PPV posters than i realised. Nearly half of the Backlash posters alone feature him and on top of that he missed one year so 4 out of a possible 9.

I watched last years Backlash with a friend the other night cos he found it for £4 in HMV... We ended up talking all the way through it cos it was not exactly brilliant. The Batista/HBK match and the Edge/Taker matches were pretty good though.
I own Backlash '05 simply because my ex used to get them for £1 from work. The majority of my collection was free to me cos she would buy them and just give them to me as little presents. I'm the easiest guy to buy presents for in the world if you work in GameStation. Haha!! It's not a bd event, but with only the Benoit/Edge match really above good I would never have bought it myself.

Yeah it was, I don't know what RaiZ-R is thinking not mentioning that. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
That was easily one of the best Backlash matches, and probably Triple H's best match of the last....maybe 4 years haha.
Backlash 2007 is my favourite by the way. I bought that on DVD on the strength of the two main events, both of which are great matches. The Cena/Edge/Orton/HBK match is my favourite Fatal 4 Way of all time, and Undertaker vs Batista is one of the better examples of a last man standing match you'll find. It also contains a very good US title bout between Benoit and MVP.

My favourite was the 2004 show, sure it was a 2 match show but both them matches delivered big time. Overall Backlash hasn't been a bad PPV over the years.

lol I actually forgot about that one. Two amazing matches.
That's better than 2007, but 2007 is still damn good.
Backlash is rarely a great PPV overall but it always has at least 1 or 2 great/memorable matches.

I don't really remember that match... We were drinking pretty heavily at the time. Although I remember watching it last year and being hugely impressed then either. Probably because of who won it to be honest...
