To be fair to Russo... they did this before in 2000 when he wasn't around. >_>
I really hate matches like this. Reminds me of the NWO 2007 tag where the match is totally irrelevant, it's just filler until the big swerve or angle at the end.

Russo may not have been in the business in 2000 (although wasn't he in WCW then, I honestly don't know) but he had been previously. What's the betting that he suggested this stipulation during his run with WWE? Obviosuly I'm totally speculating, but he's come up with enough retarded gimmicks to have this one added to his long, long list of evidence that he's completely fucking insane.
