The 25th Anniversary...
Ok, so everybody who isn't a complete fool knows that this years Wrestlemania is not the 25th Anniversary, but the 24th.
Now I assume this occured because nobody at Titan Towers or whatever it's called noticed the mistake before they'd put their full weight into promoting it, but I just saw something that really amused me.
Over at WWE.com, there's a video previewing Wrestlemania, and it actually says it's been 24 years in the making... and then goes right on to call it the 25th Anniversary. What a bunch of geniuses...

Well, anniversaries work the same way as birthdays. Your first birthday occurs one year after you were born, but one year after the birth of Wrestlemania was Wrestlemania 2. Because of this discrepancy in the numbering, Wrestlemania 25 is actually the 24th anniversary, and not the 25th.

That did confuse me. When I was watching WWE around 1999 during the promos for WrestleMania XV, that confused me. I thought to myself that WrestleMania began in 1984, but it began in 1985. WWE sure confuse us all.
