At the 25 Anniversary of WrestleMania, World Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison will battle WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo in a Unified WWE Tag Team Championship Match.
The brothers from San Juan shocked the WWE Universe when they interrupted a live taping of “The Dirt Sheet” on ECW in order to issue the challenge of absolute historic significance. And though Nikki and Brie Bella seem conflicted about where their loyalties are, the WWE Universe is ecstatic to find out which tag team will reign supreme.
Problems started between the two decorated tag teams when Miz & Morrison won a non-title victory over the Colon Brothers several weeks ago, snatching the opportunity to take the Bella Twins out for Valentine’s Day in the process. In addition to Carlito & Primo having to suffer the loss of affection from their favorite Divas, the “Dirt Sheet” duo was also given a chance at their gold. After Carlito & Primo successfully defended their titles two weeks later, rekindling Nikki and Brie’s interest once more, they were in turn given an opportunity at the World Tag Team gold. Miz & Morrison roared back with a victory of their own, and the Divas’ interests shifted yet again.
If one of these two outstanding duos can walk out of Reliant Stadium in Houston with all the gold, they will do more than simply prove their superiority or win the heart of the girl. They will change the very course of WWE tag team history forever.

This would be a great opener I feel. Hopefully Miz and Morrison go over and unify the tag titles. Good decision to finally do it, two sets of tag titles has been too many for a long time considering the lack of depth.
Also it is refreshing to see the tag titles actually defended. Looks like the IC title will be too.

FINALLY a match I'm excited to see at Wrestlemania. If their SD/ECW matches is any indication, this will really help the overall quality of WM.
Indeed, I'm prolleh more excited about this than anything else aswell. Sure it lacks the amount of spotlight and buildup that some of the other matches on the PPV have had but this is just a freshly needed and long over due addition to a WM card.

I have no doubt that this is going to be a great match. No surprise to me that this match is happening, I was hoping for it. So now there are two matches I actually care to see at Mania now. This and HBK/Taker. Finally WWE came to their senses and figured out that they really only need one set of tag titles now. I'm betting Miz/Morrison to get the win in this one. It wouldn't make much sense to get rid of the World Tag Team Championship at all since it's been around way longer and has a such larger history.
Hopefully they give it some time to play out as a good match.

This is going to be smoking hot. Their recent matches have been the highlight of SD for me lately, and they're sure to step their games up a few notches for Mania. Plus, unifying the titles is going to help the tag division in a big way. I'm honestly looking forward to this one more than most of the others.
