You would put those two matches over HBK/Taker? Wow, I don't see how you got to that opinion.HBK/Taker was clearly the class of the ppv. And they didn't even need weapons to do it.

Hardy's match was really really bad imo. I was actually kind of looking forward to it, but it was just mindless spots that didn't even make sense. I get that they hate each other, but there are more effective ways of hurting someone you hate than jumping off ladders. Pretty ridiculous.

The Hardy's match was crap. I hate the both of them.
Crap? That was a really good match. It had the two of the best spots of the night, if not THE two best spots of the night. Great wrestling and weapon moves. Never have I seen a Twist of Fate through a chair before. Just an overall great match.

Matt didn't do useless spots though and Jeff's gimmick is being a ridiculous daredevil and it works so well in his feud. The guy does a ridiculous spot that backfires. The idea is Jeff is nothing without Matt's guidance and Jeff made a huge stupid mistake, costing him the match. Works perfect imo.

I guess i'm in the minority in the fact I disliked HBK vs. Taker. I thought the match was great before the sick bump, and I mean great. The match was just simply amazing before this point, and the bump itself was great. But after that the match became slow and predictable. It makes me wonder if Taker did some damage to himself on the landing and they had to improvise. Especially considering another ref came down to check on Taker but wasnt used as a back up ref. He did land pretty nasty.
I was severely disappointed in the main event, but the MITB and Hardys match was very good. And the Triple Threat was surprising but nothing great. And I don't care about giving other people chances, I marked out like the ROH bitch I am when CM Punk won again. And oh my steamboat, he out wrestled half of the people on that card.
I think this Mania will be remembered as a middle of the road Mania.

I am just watching the PPV now (it's at the HBK/Taker match now), but my goodness. 800+ replies!!!!!
Great job guys and thanks to everyone that contributed. This so far has been a really fun show to watch and I wished I could have been here live with you guys.
