Never has there been a high profile match with such little build up.
Never has there been a high profile match between two guys who work part time, have been doing shit all this year and had their last serious interaction in the late 90's.
Never have two key wrestlers involved in a storyline lost weeks before Wrestlemania and had no clue match set out for them.
Both HBK and Undertaker are marketable names, and based on the little build up for their match, and the fact this match is in their home state, its highly unlikely WWE would have HBK lose given his momentum from the JBL feud. Its also very unlikely Undertaker would lose his streak to someone who will do nothing with the credibility it garners.
Its possible that WWE will give the match a solid half hour to fourty minutes, and have it end by DQ, then gain ratings between Wrestlemania and Backlash with "huge" matches involving Kozlov/ JBL / HBK/ Undertaker, and market a rematch of Undertaker and HBK.
However, I guess youre right, from a business sense its completely retarded. I mean who wants to make money right? Its out there with the fairies and angels...
This match has been teased and built to since the Rumble. HBK and Flair had "done shit all that year and worked part time", plus HBK and Taker have had serious interaction over the last couple of years. 2007 and 2008 Royal Rumble.
You have yet to give one good reason why they would do a dirty finish here when they havent done a dirty finish in high profile Wrestlemania matches for over a decade. It's fantasy booking because you are basing it on nothing. There have been no hints, no teases or no suggestions at all to even suggest a dirty finish.

So Kozlov beating Taker cleanly on Smackdown isnt a hint? You truly believe that WWE are just going to have Kozlov and JBL sit Wrestlemania out even though they have been a major part of the companies booking the past few months. I think its you who is in the fantasy...
I think they will do a run-in, or even make it a fatal fourway, but a DQ finish certainly isn't going to happen. Kozlov pinning Taker is just to build Michaels up. If he can beat a guy who beat Taker, then that's good momentum going into the match.

Steves right, Wrestlemania is the WWE's top show odf the year and screwy finishes are a no-no.
And as far as Kozlov/Taker is concerned if they were going to put that match on at Mania they wouldnt have give it away on free tv a month before the show.

Why?
Kozlov just beat The Undertaker one on one fairly, so that right there is great build for Mania. Kozlov has proved that he can beat Taker, and that puts fear into people's minds that Kozlov CAN break Taker's streak.
