I'm the bizatch that convinced you lot that it would be Matt with my reasoning. Now, Matt has some more personality and how he'll explain it shall be interesting to see.
Most people called it, I for one made a thread suggesting it.
but yeah, Matt Hardys heel turn was win. I know the chair shot was cheesy but come on, it finally happened, matt turning on jeff.

Well looks like Duggan will be getting into the hall this year.
Yeh having almost everyone hanging from the top rope was pretty damn lame, and as soon as Big Show did it it was like wtf.
They didn't even let scrubs get out quickly this year, it was like everyone had to stay in for awhile which sort of made it interesting but sort of took away from the match.
The finish to the match was pretty anti-climatic, and I was a bit let down with the finish. Just came off as lame.

I seriously hope RVD will be back officially, even though its unlikely, he looked great last night and had no ring rust after being out for years.
WWE would be daft not to have him, the crowd went mental when he returned.

It would have been epic considering it was in Bombay Michigan >_>

Re: *Results* WWE Royal Rumble 2009
I enjoyed the show, but bought it really for (a) that I wanted to see where a couple of those angles were going and (b) for the Rumble match itself.
I thought the opener was really fine. Like others, I already expected the result of Jeff/Edge to be a heel turn for Matt. That doesn't make it a bad thing, I hate when bookers spy that people expect a swerve and then try to swerve the fans and then nothing ever makes sense.
Jeff/Edge was my stand out match out there. Excellent stuff. I am sure Jeff did well enough in his six weeks or whatever for them to put the belt back on him down the line. A bit like when Edge won it the 1st time, this was a nice "taster" run for him.
I didn't think much of the Rumble match at all. Exceptionally obvious, with very few stand out moments for me. Orton was always winning, but they didn't manage to ever convince me that there was any possibility he wouldn't. The match felt like they had too god damn many people in there all the time. Usually it seems to peel back to 2 or 3 guys then build again, then peel back and so on. But this time there never seemed to be too many occasions when there weren't at least 10 people out there. I hated the way Taker was eliminated, and think it's retarded that somebody outside the match (eliminated) can just pull you out and that counts. RVD's return was fun. I won't expect it to lead to anything, but the Rumble nicely throws these things up from time to time. The Goldust/Cody thing was fun too. Other than those things I already can't think of much of interest that happened.
