i see it playing out like this. vince or stephanie or whoever shows up to raw and tells orton he's fired but oh wait a minute. he has a contract for Wrestlemania and says he is untouchable. so from now till mania the mcmahons will play face for once and try to get ortons shot away from him by putting him in all sorts of matches that he always comes out on top in. that would be pretty sweet.
I would like it too. It would be great to see that done, with the face and heel roles switched. Normally is it the heel authority figure trying to screw the face star out of the title. The only thing is it would actually make Orton seem like the face for that very reason.

Probably not. He returned for a RAW months ago and that was just a one off appearance. He lives near where the Rumble was so he probably just did it as a favor.

Im left shaking my head. How many jokes do you need in a rumble match? Hacksaw, Ziggler, Santino, Kendrick.... The Hardy heel turn was strung out too long. He comes to the ring with a chair, but instead he hands it to Jeff, goes outside to get another, suggests the double chairshot, winds up, and blasts Jeff. Why the hell didnt he just blast Jeff with the original chair as soon as he got into the ring!?
Triple H eliminating Kozlov made Kozlov look like a joke. Dont get me wrong, he looked unstoppable until Triple H told him to suck it and tossed him over the ropes.
The matches were good, just so many fail moments that made me glad I wasnt paying for the ppv.
I marked for the MVP chants...I think at least tonight he seemed a little crediable then he has in such a long time! And HHH annoyed the fuck out of me to be honest...I so marked for his ass getting tossed out. Although I called it...well anyone pretty much did.
The first four guys was pretty great...it slowed a bit when Khali got in lol

This picture for the win!
Favorite Superstars: The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, MVP, John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge, Kofi Kingston, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Jericho
I'm the bizatch that convinced you lot that it would be Matt with my reasoning. Now, Matt has some more personality and how he'll explain it shall be interesting to see.
Holy shit @ Melina's flexibiliy. Her own leg hitting her own head by Beth = fucking sick. I like how Mel put over women's wrestling and said a new era would come, very very humble.
Royal Rumble was entertaining for me, though the result? Way predictable. HHH, meh. I was surprised to see Kozlov and Khali get out quicker than someone like... Cody. Ah well.
Loved the HBK/Taker quick little backstage thing, foreshadow? I sure hope so.
Nice to see HBK superkick the living 'ell out of both JBL and Cena.
My thoughts are all over the place, haha.

Yes, I have a GIF of two women kissing.
Yes, it's hot. Yes it's Megan Fox kissing another woman from Jennifer's Body. Yes, it's hot... owait, I already said that. Yes, I'm aware this makes me sound like a total lesbian. But this scene? UNF.
X2 he would've been alot better then Duggan
I'm kinda offended he was even in it tbh when you couldve had anyone else on the roster
You mean the guy who had one of the top pops of the night? Mhmm...sure would of loved to see any other wrestler come out to a dead crowd reaction like most of the ones in the Rumble.
If there's one word to describe the Rumble match, it'd be infuriating.
Did EVERYONE need to try to be the highlight of the Rumble? Jesus Christ, when even the Big Show narrowly escapes elimination by hanging on to the ropes, you know it's overdone. They fucked up a great JTG/Morrison spot of both hanging on kicking each other by having Mysterio and DiBiase performing an identical spot at the SAME FUCKING TIME. Someone needs to inform the roster that the whole reason why it was always impressive when Michaels did it (And eventually Hunter in 1996) is that no one else did it. When everyone else tries to do the same thing, it makes it seem ordinary.
Then there's the predictability. Everything from knowing that a big name would come out after having several midcarders start out to knowing that the next one would be an equal big star. Even the ending was beyond predictable with it being Orton and Hunter being the final two.
Speaking of Hunter, once again he had to be the center of attention whenever someone was gaining attention. They were building up a fun sequence with Orton RKOing everyone only to have Hunter ruin it with a pedigree. Shocker. What's even less shocking is that he took out Priceless as if they were nothing and yet SOMEHOW was eliminated without having any work done to him. Way to make Orton's win look impressive Trips. I can't even remember the last time the final two wrestlers having ZERO interaction at the end. (Maybe 1997?). I was completely floored when Punk reversed a Pedigree into a GTS...of course Hunter had to completely bury it with a terrible sell.
Finally, did they really need to have so many wrestlers in at one time? Which so few eliminations, there was little in terms of actual wrestling done in the ring. Of course once number 30 came out, everyone was eliminated quickly.
Easily, one of the worst Rumble matches ever.

The Matt Hardy heel turn wasn't that bad imo. They had to suck the audience into believing Matt was going to help Jeff and not everybody knew it was going to happen. It did it's job and turned some cheers into boos but noone likes Jeff so everyone started cheering when he lost lul.
