Now, I am pretty sure you will have noticed that John Morrison is showcased more than pretty much anybody else right now. He regularly pops up on all three brand's shows, not only wrestling, but more often than not getting the victory, either in singles competition or for his team. When Miz and Morrison win a match, it is nearly always Morrison who gets the pin. Together they have captured the tag titles on RAW and they also wrestle on Smackdown. As well as this, they get mic time and backstage segments, but it seems like the team's push is mainly to benefit Morrison in the long term.
Despite this, Morrison is still not really going anywhere. The guy was ECW Champion in mid 2007. If you look at where he is now, tagging with The Miz and holding tag titles, it seems like his career has gone backwards more than anything. I appreciate they are building him up slowly, giving the fans a good look at him etc, but I fear that they are overexposing him at the moment, so the fans will get pretty sick of him before long. It seems like he is being rammed down our throats without actually going anywhere. He has been doing this for long enough, and really should be further up the card by now. They need to just pull the trigger and give the guy a big singles push, because the team of Miz and Morrison is getting stale and can only hold him back at this stage.
For a while I thought they were actually building to Michaels/Morrison at Wrestlemania with the DX stuff, which would have been awesome, but obviously there is zero chance of that now. I imagine he will either not get on the Mania card or just be thrown into MITB randomly.
So are you happy with the way they are using Morrison? It is getting stale? Are they actually pushing him right now or not?

He's on all the shows. Hunter and Shawn let him ridicule them like they let nobody else do, hell HBK even let him beat him with a superkick. So I've no doubt they have plans for Morrison. Likely beyond ECW. But they are taking their time.

I hope WWE make a move on him tbh, he has all the tools to become a top contender in the WWE, his in ring work is shaping up well, hes great on the mic, hes pretty damn charismatic. it's just sad to see him in the same spot everyweek, I want to see him in more singles competition. I think it would be good for him and the Miz to split up and feud, because that would make for a great angle and it would get them both out of the stale tag team division and get into some decent singles matches.

And when there is no hope,
"I'll smoke some crack, I'll shoot some dope!"
When theres no enemies,
"I sit and stare at my T.V.
and in my ignorance,
I'll be a slave and sycophant!"
Personally I'd much rather the wwe get their act together and create a decent tag division and have him and Miz dominate than see Morrison pushed at the moment, but that'll never happen.

Maybe its just me, but i'd consider being the Tag Champion and being on all three shows as an improvement from being ECW Champion and stuck on the thrid tier show.

I actually see him being one of the leading contenders to win the MITB match.
Weather he wins that or not this could be a make or break year for the sharman of sexy, I feud with somebody like Shawn Micheals could certainly help him at this point of his carear, although his teaming with The Miz should not end for a while yet.

You're totally right in a sense.. it would be safe to say that Morrison right now looks far more important than guys like Chavo and Henry ever looked as ECW champion.. and Swagger as the champion right now looks like a jobber in comparison to Morrison.
Most of us would probably like to see Morrison get a nice singles push but I think the WWE feel they've got a pretty good thing going with him and the Miz, they're a credible heel team that can be utilized on any level across all three rosters. Either that of course or they're being lazy as usual and don't have any good creative ideas to send him out on his own. If that is the case then I'm happy enough to wait until the finally do come up with something because he's being showed effectively enough at the moment.
I'd definitely put him and MVP as my favourites to take MiTB. I can imagine them not giving it to Morrison because they've got a good thing going with him and Miz. They've got great chemistry in and out of the ring, and they're pretty much holding the tag division together on all 3 brands!
I see the Miz and Morrison tagging for the majority of the next year and tease them breaking up before turning on eachother leading into mania and having a blowoff match on the Mania 26 card

Honestly, Im not a fan of Morrison showing up on all three brands in seemingly random matches. He is getting exposure, but he isnt doing anything to note. After Miz & Morrison lost their tag belts, I figured Morrison would head to Smackdown with Miz staying on ECW. Morrison could have possibly won or at least challenged for the US Championship, which Shelton seems to be doing very little with. Meanwhile Miz could have challenged Matt Hardy for the ECW title. Right now I see Morrison in limbo, he wont be released, but Im not sure he will be out of the midcards anytime soon. No Im not happy with the way he is being used.
