I can't see Morrison making it into it, due to his terrible mic skills. It's been almost or even more then two years since they've joined up, and Morrision is still as bad on the mic as he was.. I can only think of two good promos Morrison has had, while Miz is straight consistent on being a heel.
Miz doesn't get cheap heat like Miz... Example - Miz says "What makes you two think you deserve a title shot".. Drawed him natuaral heat while Morrision had to say something about the Cubs..

When Miz can get heat without taking a cheapshot at the fans or whatever city they're in which Morrison has to do, Miz owns him yes. Morrison doesn't have the skill to make what he says believable, which Miz does.

He's on all the shows. Hunter and Shawn let him ridicule them like they let nobody else do, hell HBK even let him beat him with a superkick. So I've no doubt they have plans for Morrison. Likely beyond ECW. But they are taking their time.
Exactly. I see no reason to push Morrison to the top of the card just yet. WWE realizes he has the goods as you've pointed out, but there's a lot of other things going on at the top right now. I could see Morrison as a guy who takes the 'E by storm in the Summer or early Fall to setup 2010.
But surely if wwe are writing their lines, then both of them suck or both of them are good.
It's delivery of the lines that is important as far as these two go, and Morrison's delivery is wooden and uncomfortable. I'd accept that it was part of his character if it was for the fact he's changed character since he arrived several times and his personality hasn't changed at all.
Plus it's a shit character trait when you're boring.
