The best professional wrestler ever is.....

Too many times we just list the usual be all and end all list of the usual suspects. Well screw that I want to know the guy that you rate as the best ever, giving your reasons why, backing them up and then listing the matches that sealed the deal. If you can't justify it just don't respond.

I had a sig, once.

I was going to go for Kurt Angle as my obvious choice, but instead I'm going to pick HBK himself.

A lot of the reasons apply to both men, great careers, incredible matches, good backstage skits and promos (Angle probably has the edge there).

However my chief reason for picking HBK over Angle comes down to what happened last summer when Shawn turned heel again (temporarily). It just blew me away to see what an awesome heel he could still be after years of playing a face. As heels, I think the two men are comparable, but Shawn has spent pretty much the whole of the last four years as a vanilla face and that, with this generation of fans, is flat out hard work. He's managed it superbly, whereas Kurt.....I'm never a fan of his as a face so that swung my choice.

No love for the milk truck?!?! lol..

Well, I was going to say Kurt Angle because of his combination of in-ring skills, matches, and mic work but he just hasn' been around long enough for me to give it to him..

HBK is a great choice, after his retirement I would have said no but since he's come back it could be argued that he's had more top notch matches than he did before the back injury.. Amazing.. but I'm not going to give it to him just yet.

Flair is close for all he's done for the last 30 years but I'm not giving it to him either.

Triple H is IMO the greatest heel of all time, but I wn't give it to him..

Bret might be the best technician but not him.

Yes, I'm going to go with Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Greatest of all time. I hate to do it because he's such a selfish bastard and his in-ring work is very limited but I have to ..

First you have his run as the Hulkster.. Hulkamania running wild for a decade.. That's fine, enough people would be happy with that. Then he's left for dead and out of nowhere becomes the centerpiece of the nWo as a heel which IMO revolutionized the business once again.. Nobody I don't believe can really take this away from him as much as I'd like to.
