Are they using Edge's heat to make Foley a heel going against ECW. Or do they see Edge as a long time face project and are using an alliance with Foley to get him over? With Matt Hardy being rumoured to be going into the ECW project will that fued be re-visited? Will Foley cut a promo telling Hardy the only thing that ever got him over was his girl sleeping with Edge? Which of those storylines do you think was best?

What's going on in the crazy world of WWE creative and with so many good prospects should they keep Steph's pregnancy hormones in a jar to give her after the birth?

lol well, those are a lot of questions. I guess the first question that went through my head when I saw Foley turn on Dreamer was "why?"..

I understand they have history dting back to ECW but that's not what I was getting at; more why is Foley turning to begin with and even more then that, why side with Edge?

I've had a few days to mull this over and the only thing that kept popping into my head was.. "Invasion"

Lets look at it this way.. Styles turned heel with his promo right? well, sorta.. He didn't turn on the ECW fans, he turned on the "sports entertainment" fans..

And I think that's along the same lines of what Foley has done. I'm thinkign he is using Edge as a hardcore recruit fro an all out invasion because Edge has already been tested.. Wrestlemania was the test, so it's settled.. Edge is hardcore and Foley sees him as ECW-worthy

This is where Foley is a genius! He knows that discussion will role around for a week on this now. Rather than give as the turn then justify it. He's giving us a thought and then spanning it out to build anticipation.

I kinda think you all got it wrong.

Foley is offically a heel now. Didn't you hear the crowd? You could have heard a pin drop. This doesn't signify a long term face project as Edge as a face at all.

This is all about elevating Edge to full time legit Main event status for good. With Foley backing him up the crowd will buy right into their heel promos. This is just great booking for a change.

Don't you see that ECW is going to be the absolute face faction going into ONS2? I am pretty sure that was obvious, but I am just pointing it out.

The WWE needs to look like bad dudes going into ONS2 and having Foley turn on his old school gang and aligning with Edge is the perfect start to getting us to "heel on" the WWE.

I thought that is was interesting. I wouldn't have expected that at all, but it was a good fresh change.

Foley/Dreamer had a fantastic storyline in ECW for years and I can see thats where this storyline is going (with a match at One Night Stand), but wouldnt it have been much better if that angle was done in Philly, the Califonian crowd didnt give a shit

California doesn't care much about anything wrestling-related it seems.. It's weird because they always sell the tickets, but then usually the crowd is quiet or indifferent.. Philly or New York or someplace else would have got a little more of the history behind it but it still doesn't quite fit into why he'd side with Edge.. So I guess we'l find out this week where they stand.
