Did WWE Fail?

Well in heinsight, I think it's safe to say that the Draft was started because of the fallout of the Monday Night Wars and WcW going under. With the flux of talent and free agents, WWe had to find a way to give all of the huge stars from WcW and make sure that a new company didn't just pick up the scraps. So as we know, the draft was started. WWE couldn't fit all of the wrestlers on one show, so they had two. So now we look into the future, some 7 years later and we have three shows. One these three shows, only Chris Jericho, Chuck Palumbo, D-Lo Brown, Hardcore Holly, JBL, Kane, Val Venis, William Regal, Big Show, Edge, Funaki, Gregory Helms, Jeff Hardy, Triple H, The Undertaker, Chavo guerrero, Mark Henry, Matt Hardy, and Tommy Dreamer are still around. It sounds like a lot, but it's only 19 guys and out of all of them, only 11 of them are major names and still, only 5 of them could carry Raw/SD. So with so little talent that would REALLY make a difference if they were gone from the original draft, has WWE failed in doing their job. Don't get me wrong, they brought in guys around now like Rey Mysterio and others, and they've made new stars like Orton, Cena and Batista. Not to mention, they're making a lot more money with more house Shows, but I think that WWe made a huge mistake by not ending the draft when the yshould have. now i think that if the draft ever ends, it can't possibly be done right.

D-Lo Brown, Jeff Hardy, Chuck Palumbo, Matt Hardy, The Big Show and Chris Jericho all left the WWE for some time though.

It's not really that bad. You can look back at any time in the WWE and 6 years later, the company would have a very different talent roster.

There are definitely certain wrestlers that are going to be around longer than others. Within those years, a lot of things happened. There can be disagreements between Vince and the wrestlers or any other "inconveniences". Most of the time, the better wrestlers will be around longer also. Like Jim said, 6 years is a long time and 6 years from now, I could see a very different roster.

Yeah six years from now HBK will most certainly not be around and maybe not even Undertaker. Although I think Undertaker will be able to go longer than HBK is able to so it's a strong possibility that Undertaker will still be around in six years although I think he'll retire once he hits 20-0 at WM and if the streak doesn't end which I hope it doesn't.

Triple H might not even be on the active roster, he might retire sometime before then but sadly I doubt it. The roster will be very different within five to six years. Maybe even during that time people like Mr.Kennedy and MVP will become world champions hopefully.
