If it was going to be something as plain as "I'm staying" then why wouldn't (or why shouldn't) they do it on RAW? Feels pointless to build up this announcement at the second biggest PPV of the year only to have him say he's staying.
They've done more pointless things on PPV.
Having it on PPV just makes it seem more likely that he will say he is quitting. I am not against having segments like this on PPV anyway. All I know is he better be at the Raw a week after Summerslam because I'll be there.
As for the announcement, who knows. Maybe it could be swerve and he's done. After seeing that Kane's bag held Mysterio's mask, I wouldn't be surprised by anything the E does.

Maybe he will say he's done then return in a few months. It's surely a possibility.

i am preety much confident that Shawn Michaels will not be retiring this sunday at Summer Slam. Shawn Michaels has served us alot of memorable matches and moments. Shawn along with HHH's Characters worked so well because its a typical boss being horrible type situation and this time the pair are not taking any shit! Shawn Michaels is a legend, a man worth many words! i hope he doesnt retire at Summer Slam! However, there is a point when wrestlers spend too much time in the ring, lets hope he doesnt turn out to be a Rick Flair!
I doubt he'll retire at Summerslam. I think this is going to be a great angle for Y2J/HBK to continue their feud. I hope Y2J kicks HBKs ass though.
If Y2J isn't World Champion within the next year (aug 09), then I am completely losing any and all faith in the WWE. IMO, Y2J is as good as HBK ever was, maybe even better.
