Despite losing three talents, I think ECW still has a solid roster. Most say they don't have enough people, including myself, but upon further inspection they have a large roster for only about 50 minutes.
General Manager: Theodore R. Long
Wrestlers (active):
Armando Estrada H
Bam Neely H
Chavo Guerrero H
Colin Delaney H
Evan Bourne F
Finlay F
Hornswoggle F
John Morrison H
Mark Henry H
Matt Hardy F
Mike Knox H
Stevie Richards H
The Miz H
Tommy Dreamer F
Wrestlers (inactive):
The Booeyman
Elijah Burke
Other On Air Talent:
Tazz
Joey Styles (On the roster page >.>)
Tiffany
Lena Yada
Todd Grisham
Tony Chimel
Tony Atlas
Ricky Ortiz (Not added to roster page)
ECW for one hour has fourteen active wrestlers, fifteen counting Ortiz, plus both Boogeyman and Burke in wait. Not to mention other on air talent which leads ECW with about 20 people for one hour. If anything, ECW's roster is a bit large for the time provided. The only problem that could be said is the fact that there is a few more heels than faces, but if you count Ortiz and the fact that Bam is more so a body guard, it is pretty even. (unless you count Hornswoggle as a non-wrestler, in which... back to the same spot)
Thoughts on the roster as a whole and whether they need any more talent?
The Roster is good for an hour time limit, but I think like everyone else we want to see one special addition to the roster, and that would be none other than the Mac Daddy, Boom Boom, Classic COLT CABANA!
Miz, Morrison, and Bourne are reasons enough for me to watch. But, if they were to get Colt up already...I'd be glued every week.
ECW has future potential, but future potential isnt going to get me to watch right now. Looking at their roster its full of mid carders and below. In the future some wrestlers may main event, but Im not watching a program set in 2010, Im watching a program in the year 2008 and I want to see wrestlers of name value.

Yeah but its pretty much accepted that ECW is kind of a televised developmental territory.
That said, they should have one very big name at least. I was surprised someone like Jeff Hardy or Rey didn't go there in the draft. Matt is big but not really over enough to convince many people to tune in just to see him.
That is what ECW still needs.
"A few weeks prior to signing with WCW, I witnessed Hogan wrestle Flair on Nitro. Now strictly from a fan perspective, it was very hard to watch. What I witnessed that night was two legends that were shells of their former selves still trying to do it. Watching Hogan & Flair that night just wasn't right. In my opinion the bookers were just exploiting them to try to pop a number. It was a desperate situation and that's exactly the way it came across on TV."

Tom says:
Are you saying you would watch Punk fuck a bald chick in a porno?
Ken says:
I'm saying I'd watch Punk alone in a porno.
If that is true then what would a Rey or Jeff have done to the ratings?

^Rey on ECW would've done much better than Jeff on ECW tbh. The only thing is, if Rey had gone to ECW, he would've needed to be the old Rey Mysterio who does crazy flips and whatnot.
That's a good point and you know I wanted one of them there.
But besides them and who was already moved, nobody else would have seemed fitting.
But Matt seems to be doing well and drawing, same with Finlay. Rey might not draw more, especially since he wouldn't be back yet anyway. Jeff would be a big draw though. But still not a main eventer to many.
Actually, there is one person who would fit there nicely and would defenitely be the top star. However, I would feel this would've been a setback for him: Chris Jericho. He would be THE STAR on ECW and probably the Champion too.
