Okay I know this is a bit premature, but it seems like week after week Mark Henry is squashing Colin Delaney and Tommy Dreamer. What good can come from this saga? A push for Dreamer or Delaney? Well now lets be honest, how far can either go in their WWE career? I dont see Dreamer doing anything on another brand and the only way I see Delaney getting anywhere near a title is some feel good story line Mysterio. Maybe credibility for Henry? Well how much credibility can Henry get from squashing an every day jobber on ECW like Tommy Dreamer and the Zack Gowen with two legs in Colin Delaney. This all seems so pointless.
I actually like the feud. It's not meant to be some huge significant feud though. It's just a quick easy feud to help get Henry's title reign going. At the same time, it's also establishing Henry's relationship with Tony Atlas.
More than anything, it's probably just a filler feud until they can build someone new to be the challenger to the title. With the draft and The Bash being so close together, they probably didn't want to rush the Hardy (Or Finlay) vs Henry feud too quickly.

Just feels like they could be doing so much more with Henry. Having Atlas cost Dreamer a title shot is hardly compelling television in my books. Building up the Atlas and Henry relationship would have been more of a shocker and more interesting if it came against Hardy or Finlay.

And I'm sure they will really build up the relationship against Finley or Hardy. But this is just a quick little feud to get Henry going before getting a real feud.

They are just taking their time with the Hardy/Finlay fued, by building Henry up as unstoppable by killing jobbers the odds will be further stacked against whoever he faces next.

I dont see why Henry would need building up, especially with the likes of jobbers. Look at the size of him compared to any other wrestler on ECW. I hardly think the likes of a Colin Delaney is going to put Henry over as an unstoppable force. Even Adamle can beat up the likes of Delaney! This taking it slow stuff is garbage.
I wouldn't say it's garbage. Henry, just because he's big, still needs a bit more credibility since he spent so much time jobbing. Yes, destroying jobbers isn't a huge benefit, but just like with Kong it will just put over how unstoppable he is.

In Kongs first match she dominated the whole Knockouts division at the same time. That right, not jobbers, the whole division in one match! Then she took them out one by one as she went on a quest for the title Gail Kim was holding. she wasnt spending weeks apon weeks beating on some jobber like Christy Hemme.
Whoa, yeah I dont have ADHD. I'm just not interested in seeing Umaga get built on Smackdown, Henry get built up on Ecw, Matt and Jeff Hardy randomly floating around, Finlay and his bastard child involved with the tag champs. Meanwhile the Tripl H/ Edge feud is more about Vickie and Edge than it is about Triple H/ Edge.
WWE is either full of random matches, confusing angles or feuds where contact between the two people feuding is barely made. I guess its too much to ask for more rivalries that dont involve jobbers. I must have some medical condition for wanting that. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
