| How would YOU handle the Randy Orton situation? I'll be back to post thoughts of my own on here, but please explain. I've heard lots of people say he got what he deserved and so on, but would you really suspend him forever? basically.. fire him? I'll be back to answer this. | |||||||||||||||

| Well, it doesnt matter how good someone is, if he disrupts the backstage harmony, he is worthless. Look at T.O. The guy is an awesome football player, but the guy does more harm than good. I really think Orton is great, but if the rumours are true, then I say get rid of him. | ||||||||||||||

Let's hug it out bitch.
| Arent the rumors very vague at this point? I would love to know the exact details of the situation. I mean if this guy is as big a dick as they say then the company is better off cutting him loose. Also, if he is that much of a problem then releasing him and allowing him to actually go to TNA should not be a threat. Imagine Steiner and Orton sharing a locker? If its a cancer ruining your backstage harmony then you must cut it off. From everything that I have read about his past he seems like a womanizer as well which is never a good thing if you run a company. | |

| I would definitely like to know what happened and the circumstances involved. But from what we all ready know, Randy Orton just seems like a very unprofessional, cocky, young man. I think that they should just get rid of him. | |||||||||||||||

| Ok, I guess its my turn to weigh in on this situation. Like all of you, I'd really like to know all of the specific details but it was obviously serious to warrant this kind of punishment and we all know his past so I can understand you guys wanting to get rid of him but I have to disagree. Here's why.. WWE is a business unlike that of a normal company. I can relate it to sports. You guys are right, in the real world a guy like Orton, doesn't matter if he's the best damn carpenter or whatever, he'd be gone. Cut the losses and be done with it. WWE unfortunately has to treat certain people differently. We would all bitch most likely if someone like Val Venis did the same things as Orton and got fired, but you have to understand that's the way it works. Now, you don't turn into WCW and let the wrestlers rule the place, You are still the owner and you still call all the shots.. But with a guy like Orton, he gets more chances then Val Venis. It's just the way it has to be. WWE nees ratings, they need to be able o put the best talent out there week after week and especially with all the injuries, Orton's value is at an all-time high. I feel like because its Orton, as a company they need to give him one more chance to turn his attitude and behavior around. They can't afford to lose people like this. | |||||||||||||||

| Yep, it's hard to guess what the situ is but this might be the call Randy needed. I bet going down clean to Rey then Angle hurts more than the suspension and the current suspension may calm him down a bit. I just hope curbing his out-ring attitude won't wreck his cool cocky persona on the show. | ||||||||||||||

| Don't you guys all think Vince has actually handled this one really well. Credit where it's due. He's made this a public issue. He has publicly shamed Orton who, if he has anything about him, will be thinking "I'm going to prove people wrong when I return". He has him on a relatively long contract, he doesn't want to jeopardise that and have Orton go to an upstart promotion or Japan, he want's him but he want's a worthwhile version of him. WWE contracts are notoriously low on the downside and high on incentives, if Orton isn't performing on PPV's and they take his merchandise down (which they should if they haven't) then his earning is cut dramatically. So he'll be ultimately paying for this out of his pocket as well. The way Vince has handled it should ensure that Randy returns a little wiser and a little more willing to toe the company line in future. If he regresses and re-offends, do exactly the same thing only make it 90 days next time, have the guy fully aware of this position after all he won't be able to go elsewhere and potentially earn the money he can in WWE, and he sure as hell hasn't got the background or name of a Brock to take to Japan. | |||||||||||||||
