Yeah Smackdown got Triple H, Jim Ross, Umaga, Hardy and so on, but Smackdown still feels the same. Everything seems slow and rather boring. Not to mention with Jim Ross on commentary and Triple H in the ring, with the same set as Raw, the show feels like Raw lite. The only thing appearance wise that sets Raw and Smackdown apart is the color of the ring ropes. Maybe next week Smackdown will feel or seem better as the WWE.com wrestlers come over, but with things the way they are, Smackdown will probably feel like a slower version of Raw.
I know I've said it before, and people didnt think it was that big of a deal, but WWE needs to set up different divisions for Smackdown, divisions that have different wrestling styles. Every title on Smackdown has the same rules and the same weight classes as Raw, infact every title has the same card rankings and same wrestling styles.
Smackdown also needs a different set. Vince McMahon gave out a grand total of around 4 million dollars, but WWE cant shell out for a new set? For me appearance is a major contributer to separating brands. All three brands have the same entrance set, the announcers are placed in the same position( ringside), the rings are the same shape and size. It's really hard to find a difference.
I'd wait to judge the "new" Smackdown untill after Night of Champions. Wait until everything is played out and shit. I didn't watch it tonight, but I read some of the results. The new face of Smackdown (Mr. Kennedy) wasn't even there lol.

I'm with what everyone else has said. I havent bothered to watch this weeks Smackdown because I know it won't be drastically different. I could be wrong, but they didn't have the wrestlers from the supplemental draft on the show did they?
I'll probably watch next weeks, after the supplemental draft and Night Of Champions. That should be a better tester though I doubt the effects will really begin to show until a few weeks in.

Firstly, it was only Triple H and Umaga that were even there.
Secondly... you still got Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy yet to come. You've also got Maria, Carlito and others from supplemental draft yet to come. After NOC - everything will completely be different.
Thirdly be patient! If you thought changes were to be made so drastically when most were in the dark about moving, then you were hugely mistaken. They wouldn't come up with the plans that quickly.... considering the guys need to get familiar with the brand, practice with others, etc etc.
Forthly.... there isn't one ~_~

Yes, I have a GIF of two women kissing.
Yes, it's hot. Yes it's Megan Fox kissing another woman from Jennifer's Body. Yes, it's hot... owait, I already said that. Yes, I'm aware this makes me sound like a total lesbian. But this scene? UNF.
Kennedy and Hardy in particular will make a huge difference to the show. They are the new faces of Smackdown as far as I am concerned. Triple H will obviously play a bigger role than them, but in Hardy and Kennedy you have two highly entertaining guys who are going to be getting serious pushes before long, and could completely change the landscape of the brand. Surely those guys will get main event matches in the near future.

I didnt make this thread too early. You all failed to understand. I said that this week the show felt slow and boring as usual. However, I also said that next week its going to feel like Raw lite as the majority of the wrestlers who came over were are from Raw. Every division on Smackdown has the same rules, weight limits, and wrestling style as Raw, even the sets are the same. In fact the only difference between the two shows are that Smackdown is taped while Raw isn't, and the ring ropes are blue while Raws are red. This wasnt a thread on how horrible Smackdown is, rather how similar to Raw it is. I thought the point of three brands where to have shows that have three different feels to them, not one spread out.
