Last night Triple H was drafted to Smackdown. Personally I think this is a great idea. Everyone has been saying for a long time that Triple H has got pretty stale on Raw, and I always believed the main thing which would help him was a change of scenery. A lot of people doubted whether he would agree to such a move, seeing him as someone who would insist on remaining on the so called A show, but Triple H is finally off Raw. I am a big Triple H fan and I think this will be great for his career. Triple H v Edge could be an amazing feud if they go for that, and Trips obviously brings a lot of star power and ability to the brand. This is a great move for both brands in my opinion. This draft needed big moves because the title pictures were unbelievably stale, but now with Batista over on Raw and Triple H on Smackdown, things will be a lot better.
Do you approve of this move? How will Triple H do on Smackdown?

Personally I am against this whole move as I think that Triple H on Smackdown just isn't a proper fit. Almost all of Raw's Upper Midcard moved to Smackdown so it'll end up being the same shit on a different night if you ask me. Triple H might feud with Edge at one point and then MVP but after that its the same feuds from Raw on the Blue show. I deff would have preferred that he stayed on Raw To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I disapprove. It seemed like Smackdown was going to build up their main event scene with young exciting talent. Edge as champion, Jeff Hardy and Ken Kennedy as the two top face wrestlers, Umaga as the monster and MVP as the upcoming heel. They got rid of their main face wrestler in the main event scene( Batista) only to replace him with someone who is constantly in the main event scene. I'd rather have seen Randy Orton be drafted and two others ( either Carlito/Santino or Cryme Tyme come over via trade.)
Look at the potential feuds for Triple H.
Vs Edge- Seen during Rated RKO era
vs Umaga- During his Summer Slam return
vs Jeff Hardy- Seen leading up to and during Elimination Chamber
vs Bigshow- Cant remember when, but I know Show got a broken hand
Really the only other new feud worth a damn for Triple H would be MVP and Ken Kennedy. Though I think Kennedy will end up facing MVP which would be a dream come true for me.
Simply put, Triple H will have a few months of relevance and carry a bit of excitement with him for a few months, but eventually he'll be stuck in the same boring booking of feuding with Kozlov and Mark Henry, Khali and so on.
I'd rather have seen more depth for other divisions come over instead of the one big name. I only hope Miz/ Morrison stay on Smackdown once they lose the tag titles.
I don't see much wrong with it. For one, Jeff/Kennedy and HHH never had a proper feud. Same can be said for Edge/HHH. So all that would keep things fresh. More so, a potential Undertaker/HHH feud would be fucking excellent, HHH is off the same brand as Orton and Cena, whom he was getting extremely stale with and now he can move on to other feuds.
It's the best for business all around as he can draw for Smackdown, but I don't think Raw will be hurt really.

The only thing I would say is that perhaps Cena would have been a better person to switch brands, but honestly, I don't think there are any two people who need to be seperate more than Triple H and Randy Orton. Even if Cena and Orton feuded again, it would be nowhere near as stale as Triple H/Orton or indeed Triple H/Cena (which is strange because they have not faced each other much).
Triple H moving is the best thing they could do to keep everything from getting unbelievably stale, and his feud with Edge could be incredible assuming it happens. As Ken said, the Kennedy and Jeff 'feuds' still have a lot of life left in them. Him and Jeff only wrestled once, not counting the Chamber, and I don't think a continuation of that would be stale at all. Then you have the MVP feud as Fear said, which again could be very good.
neXus, I don't see how you can claim we have 'seen' Edge v Triple H. That is almost like saying we had already seen Edge/Matt feud from the TLC days. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
That would be an example of a feud having history but not being stale, which is perfect.

If this works out and HHH spends some legit good time on SD! then by the time he gets back to RAW to face the monster they're hopefully turning Orton into then that feud should be epic. Not to mention feuds with Cena and HBK after a long wait.
