Anyway, the TNA X cup previews are getting rave reviews from the IWC and it got me to thinking. Why doesn't the WWE bring back wrestling territories!? They spend so much time trying to get people from all over the world to watch their product, but they only do a few tours a year. There is a wide range of wrestler all over the world so why not set up something like a WWE India and have that promotion broadcast only in India. Same for Australia, Japan, Mexico and so on. Then at the end of the year, WWE could have the champions from each territory battle it out for the WWE title.
In essence, I mean you'd have to get rid of the US title and make it the WWE North American title, and so on.
Make sense? To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
This is something I've been wishing for for like year. I'd love to see wwe do a broader show that uses talent from across the globe, or even just do one show that features talent from other promotions. But alas, for this to happen the talent would have to sign wwe exclusivity contracts because that's how wwe rolls and they don't want anyone else getting anywhere near their talent.
Great idea, but it'll never happen due to how the wwe run their contracts.

I for one hate the idea. I'd like to see all the wrestling and wrestlers. Example being I'd hate only seeing Rey once a year (though with his injuries it's like only once a year anyway To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. Regal, Burchill, and others would wrestle there and ultimately we'd never see them if we're not in the UK... seems really stupid to me. Maybe developmental territories all over, that'd work. But the WWE doesn't need to be broken up and depriving the fans of talents.

No. There are indy promotions all over the world. There are wrestlers who come from all over the world. Thus I am saying WWE should start to buy out or start smaller local promotions in these countries. Then you have your World Wrestling Entertainment as you see it now. However, You'd also have WWE England, WWE Japan, WWE India. It's like having a WWE promotion based out of each country. At the end of the year all champions from each promotion meet up at Wrestle Mania and fight for the Word Wrestling Enterianment Title.
So basically it's like a bunch of feeder systems almost then? With WORLD Wrestling Entertainment then like India Wrestling Entertainment as a sub branch. Let's use an example...
1PW in England with the 1PW stars and 1PW championships which has no effect on the WWE we see now?

Its basically just like creating a promotion like CMLL in Mexico. The company runs off of its own wrestlers, its and its own storylines, but it being funded by the WWE. WWE cant just call up whoever they want, but the company shares a certain % of all earnings with WWE. At Wrestlemania, in the very first meeting each champion from every WWE promotion( including the current one which will be known as WWE North America) fight in one match for the right to be called the WWE World Champion. In following years, each promotion fights in one match to have the right to face the current WWE champion.
Therefore the WWE title is only defended once a year. The WWE US Title would be the richest prize for the current WWE, however, it's name would be changed to the WWE North American title.( USA, Canada). In Japan the biggest title for that promotion would be the WWE Japan title and so on.
