Another wrestler v wrestler, and this could be an interesting one as it is a battle between two internet favourites. The up and coming CM Punk, who is obviously extremely popular, and the charismatic Chris Jericho, who in my opinion is doing a great job at the moment and has enjoyed a very successful return to WWE. But who is the better man?
Judge by:
1) Look
2) Character/Gimmick
3) Charisma
4) Mic Skills
5) Wrestling Ability
6) Overall Entertainment factor/Personal Preference

My second and third favorite wrestlers going at it.
I prefer Punk out of the two. Yes, that's including his WWE work (for inring standards at least). I love Jericho, he is epic on every level.. but Punk I just prefer.
I really don't know what to say because both are amazing in the ring, on the mic, have a great look, are overflowing with Charisma, give great matches, sell perfectly, are over, etc. Really, I can't honestly say one is better than the other. It's just down to preference.

Jericho has put on great matches everywhere he has gone, all across the globe. CM Punk has only had great matches in ROH (his wwe matches are good, but nothing to yell about). Punk's matches with Joe may be better than any match Jericho has been in, but Jericho has had more great matches than Punk.
Really, it's an unfair comparison due to the fact that Punk and his career is still so young whereas Jericho has accomplished so much.

I know but you can still say who you believe is the best currently. It is not a career overview as such, more just who do you believe is the better man based on current stuff.

But they are pretty equal in terms of ability, so then I judge them on which one interests me more. A fued with Palumbo is pretty hard to care about, no matter your ability, whereas it's very easy to be drawn into and care about what Jericho is doing at the moment.

I think he could surpass Jericho, but it all comes down to the wwe. No doubt Punk has the ability to put on fantastic matches, but you have to look at the people he will be having those matches with in future, what other talent is there fore him to face?
Jericho came to the wwe at a great time and competed with the likes of Benoit, Austin, HHH and The Rock. Is there anyone in the wwe at the moment who is on that level or will be on that level?
Punk has the potential to become something phenominal, and he's a had a heck of a start, but it all comes down to what the wwe choose to do with him.
However there is one thing I mention that Jericho has that I doubt Punk will ever achieve, sucess outside of the US. Sure if Punk was to leave the wwe and go elsewhere he could accomplsih it, but he looks set to stay in the wwe for a long long time.

There is. CM Punk could feud with Jericho himself, legends such as Shawn Michaels, Triple H and The Undertaker, other up and comers such as MVP and Ken Kennedy, main eventers such as Mysterio, Edge, Randy Orton. Ok, so maybe there is noone at his level who is as good as Benoit, which is what Jericho had. However, I would say that if you look at the entire roster, there is even more potential for great feuds than Jericho had.
