What brought you back? What kept you?

The funny thing is...... I bet not too many people even saw Survivor Series 97.

I know I didnt see it live.

I always followed wrestling off and on throughout my whole life as most of us wrasling posters have, but something and or someone brought you back full time.

What was it? An angle? A person?

For me I always liked HBK and Diesel so when I started hearing about the NWO angle I tuned in one Monday Night, the rest was history. I was back full time with WCW and LOVED every second of it.

I had just moved out of my house and was in an apartment and would grab some beers and a little wacky tabaccy and watch it with my buddies. We ate it up man.

We actually thought the WWF sucked big time. I remember seeing Chainsaw Charlie and Cactus Jack vs. NAO and laughing my balls off.

I wasnt back into the WWE completely until the Ministry and Corporation went toe to toe.

I also remember really digging the Rock vs. Mankind match during Superbowl Halftime.

How's about you's?

I watched wrestling from when I was like 6-years old.. so that'd be about 1988 or so until 1995. Then I got older and started thinking it was gay and at the time it was getting pretty gay.. but then when the nWo came around I got back into it. Not right away.. I didn't start watching until like 1997 but then I got hooked and have been watching ever since. It's kinda ironic that I'm a huge WWE mark..always have been, but it was actually WCW that brought me back from a two year hiatus.

Stone Cold Steve Austin about 1997 brought me back full time. I would contribute it mostly to that but they were some great things going on in the WWF back then. DX, The Rock, The Ministry etc.....

But Stone Cold was kept me coming back.

Three hundred thousand Yankees
Is stiff in southern dust.
We got three hundred thousand
Before they conquered us
They died of Southern Fever
And Southern steel and shot
I wish there were three million
Instead of what we got.

I never stopped watching by choice, my family was on and off cable for years. I really started to get back in around summer 1996 when I watched SummerSlam 1996. I think it was after renting a copy of WrestleMania XII and watching the Iron Man match.

I quit wrestling so many times. The last time I quit was last years WrestleMania.

Wrestling is so bad at times, that its hard to watch. I feel like stopping now, HHH in the main event makes me sick. They totally screwed Edge

I was quite different to most since I wasn't into it at all as a kid (maybe a little British wrasslin' e.g my user namesake, Fit Finlay I remember well). I actually got into it strangely in around 1992 when WCW was being shown on British screeens. My 23 year old kid brother was around 9 then and so it was a good thing to watch with him and have some laughs but I found I was getting into it too (sadly!!).

That stopped after about a year or so and then I didn't pick it up again until I hooked up with Sky (TV Company) around 1996/7 and I suppose the "wars" got me into it. I used to flip between Nitro and Raw back then (both recorded shows shown on the same time over here on a Friday night, one on TNT and one on Sky).

I suppose this was handy for me since my youngest child was very young, I was in on Friday nights from then on in and got hooked till about 2001. I carreid on watching (since it is a sickness) until last year, but finally gave up when I realised I enjoyed talking about it way more than actually watching it!

The end of 1998. Back when the Austin/McMahon saga was fully involved with Taker/Kane and Mankind. Rock was the People's Face Champ. And then Survivor Series 98 happened and i was hooked. I had a favourite wrestler in Mankind that kept me watching the late screenings of "Superstars" we used to get here.
