So I havnt watched wrestling in a long time, and this is my 2nd or 3rd attempt now in a few years to try to get back into it. I watched Raw last night, and it wasnt the greatest, but it was pretty good. A lot of new faces i havnt seen yet, and some good talent. But I noticed that it now has a PG rating? There is prolly a thread about this already, but can someone tell me if this is a bad thing?
I always liked the fact it had a 14 rating. Does this take away fromt he show at all?

It really depends what you're looking for in the show. I personally think it makes WWE work harder to get angles over because they can't simply have a wrestler bleed all over the show to get across that these guys really don't like each other. So the writing is slowly (and by God do I mean slowly) improving. However, it does mean that there is some very childish crap going out and being used simply to get kids buying merch.
If you want all blood and brawls then it's a bad thing. If you want the writing to improve because now they can't take short cuts, it's a good thing. Kinda. Haha!!
The WWE really doesn't know how to be PG. They have to depend more on storylines and most of them havn't made much sense. If the WWE stays pg that means we'll likely won't ever have another Stone Cold type character. I guess we are half way back to the 80's.
It's kind of funny to me that they do have a PG rating. I can see them having one back in the Attitude Era but now...errrr....I can see maybe sometimes I guess -shrug-
