New RAW GM

What happened here? I thought they were going to name a new GM

Eric Bishoff was a great GM, I'm still wondering why they fired his ass.

Vince McMahon Im just sick of. At least they could have brought in someone new, to freshen things up.

WWE likes to bring back legends...I think a perfect role for half of these guys would be in roles such as GM's. Hacksaw Duggan could have been somewhat entertaining in that role :blitz:

Vince plans on being the new GM until at least WM. The plan was to name a new GM, but he liked being on TV so much that he decided to keep the role a little while longer.

Personnaly, I liked it when Vince would appear only once in awhile and hope they name the new GM the day after WrestleMania.

Lol....Vince doesn't want you remembering stuff like that. Just accept what you see!!

Seriously, it was meant to be Dusty (I think!) before Vinny got to having fun again. Don't know what plans they have for it post Mania.

Maybe Shawn wins at Mania and Vince goes to to fire him the night after, then the new GM tells him he can't because the WWE Board have voted him in as new GM and what he says goes. Serves a purpose and would get whoever over on 1st night.

I have read that HBK is taking time off after Mania. Perhaps he just wants time off from wrestling while still staying on TV.

In DK's scenario he could just show up on Monday nights for the GM role, but I gotta tell ya I dont think it fits his style.

To me the GM role was best served when you had some comedy mixed in. Remember Foley and Regal? They were simply the best in that role. Shit, even the one week Eugene was GM it was funny.

I just like the thoughts of the heels trying to get one over on a face GM and he is all "Not gonna happen".

The whole faces against the GM and heels thing is soooooooooooo overplayed.

I would also like to see Bischoff come back in some fashion, he is good for wrestling.

I agree, Eric is awesome.

He is one of the best characters in wrestling. I put him on the same category with Vince, Heyman and Russo (my fave btw).

He was doing well, I wish they gave a reason for his firing.

I like your idea of having the GM a face. Comedy is always good. That's why I think HOFs should be brought in , not to wrestle, but as GMs or refs.

I liked Mick Foley as GM.. he was funny and I wouldn't mind seeing him back in that role.
