Should Cena Become Heel?

I was thinking this because he gets such a mixed reaction from fans and I know a lot of people don't like him. I am a Cena fan and always have been since his debut against Kurt Angle and his "thuganomics" gimmick. I don't think this "marine" gimmick is doing him any good at the moment or when he first started it. I know there are a lot of heels in WWE and on Raw with the top being Y2J but I feel Cena needs to move in a new direction or he will become stale.

Thoughts?

It would be intertesting to see how he would do as a heel, i think it would be cool i mean, why not, they turned Stone Cold Heel in '01 and he was way more over with the fans than cena is.

He wouldn't be a true heel, anyway. He would be a "cool" heel who fans would still love. A lot of them, anyway.

That said, I don't think its the best time for him to turn. They are a bit lacking in top level faces in the WWE, but they have plenty of quality heels.

Great time for him to turn, but how would he in a match against the ultimate heel; Y2J. Vince will cling to his little blanky Cena until he is crusty and old. That being said, he is hated in Boston. I Was at the last Summer Slam in Boston, and there were much more Boos then cheers. Plus, he is a Rays fan. (cough) LOSER, LOSER

I would like to see Batista turn heel. Have him, and CM Punk be left against Ortin, and have him turn and just power bomb C.M. Punk!!

I just want ANYONE to make a drastic heel turn. Why do they have to be so subtle and slow transitions? JUST TURN BABY!!!

I don't expect any big suprises at Survivor Series, and Cena turning heel would just be too damn good to be true.

Cena as a human being is the best guy in the wwe, but I forget that with the 10 000 Cena promos 5 minutes each. But WWE dont care about the audiance or the product, look at Dibiasi being put in the movie, which will ultimately be their down fall and TNA victory, getting more fans. But Im so over Cena I just dont care, I cant even watch Raw after all these years Im a TNA follower. Cena can convert to Doinks gimmick for all I care.

I would love to see Cena go back to being a heel. I thought he was awesome back in the day when he first started using the rapper gimmick and freestlyed on wrestlers.

Although, I think it would be a great way to freshen things up I just don't see Vince allowing this to happen since Cena sells a lot of merchandise to the younger fan base.

I think it would be interesting to see a Cena heel turn but WWE won't due to the fact that Cena is probabally the highest merch seller in the business, but I honestly hate this lame "marine" gimmick.
The WWE could make him an anti-hero kinda character, like steve austin, a fan favourite but a bit of a bad ass.

Even if he goes heel. It will not be a full "hate his guts" turn. It will be "wow he is such a badass let's cheer for him" heel. I want to see him put someone through a plate glass window. Sign up for a tag team match, and then walk a way when his partner is being beat down. Bring back the chain, and start pounding people with it, but people like J.R., CM Punk, Shawn Michaels. Go after the fan favorites, and just bloody them to hell. I want the audence to absolutly hate him everytime he walks out. Just keep the hate coming, if they boo long enough eventually they will start cheering.
