My favorite era was the Attitude Era. From about 1997 to 2000. Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, DX, The Undertaker, Mick Foley, Val Venis, etc....

Re: Your favorite wwe era?
Much like testicles, I have two.
One is the 1997 ish period when Bret had turned heel and Team Canada was running roughshod and DX was just starting up.
The next was the period from 2000 once the group (who already had Jericho) added Tazz, Benoit, Eddie, Angle, Malenko and thus had a far deeper upper mid card roster than they had in the earlier attitude era.
I'm surprised someone (Razor) mentioned the early-to-mid 90's. That was probably the slowest part of the WWF/E in the past 20 years (not counting the current crap).
My favorite part was probably 98-99 when Stone Cold was running a muck around Vinny Mac and the like. I miss me some SCSA. Also, Triple H, X-Pac, and the New Age Outlaws were telling us to "Suck It", and The Rock was demanding we know our role and shut our mouth!
Obviously the attitude era was great, and it comes close, but tis not my favorite.
I honestly loved the 87-92 era. Hogan, Savage, Dibiase, Roberts.......so many classics. Perhaps this is just little GD talking, but those were simpler times. You root for the good, and boo the bad, easy as pie.
Something very comforting about seeing Earthquake get his comeuppance for busting the Hulkster's ribs, kayfabe was the greatest. I honestly wish I could go back to a time of ignorance like that, being a smark is not all it's cracked up to be.

Loving wrestling overall as a whole so it's hard to pick a fave. Loved the early 90s stuff cos that's when i was a kid and marked out for anything and had uncontrollable boners whenever i saw sunny.
the only time i really couldnt care less about the wwe or wrestling were the few months before wrestlemania 19...i think it was just a bit after the roster split where chief morely was around. Nothing against morely but the talent depth was too thin at the time to keep the roster split interesting
I absolutely loved The Attitude Era..... Stone Cold,The Rock,Mankind,The Undertaker,DX,Big Show,Kane, The Monday Night Wars.... Rock And Sock Connection. EVERYTHING was AWESOME!!!
I also loved The Invasion era with WCW,ECW and WWE stars battling out. That was so entetraining and I loved it so much... Everything from Kurt Angle sparying the ALLIANCE with Milk and just everything lol.
