The Y2J Problem

Well over the past few months, Edge has taken time off from the WWE but he was written off at SummerSlam when he was sent to "hell" by The Undertaker.

After that, Taker is now feuding with Big Show after Show joined forces with Edge's ex, Vickie Guerrero.

As of now, Taker may be in this feud but how will the WWE bring back "The Ultimate Opportunist".

Will he come back and restart this feud with Taker? Will he be entering a storyline with Vickie Guerrero?

I would actually bring back Edge as a face since I think he has been heel for too long, since 2004 I think and it gets a bit boring after a while because as heel, look who he has feuded with. John Cena, Undertaker, Batista, Rey Mysterio, Ric Flair, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Dam, Mick Foley, Chris Benoit, Kane, Matt Hardy, and a few others.

How to bring him back? I think the Edge-Taker feud has got boring, kinda has dragged in like the Orton-Taker feud. Like I said, bring him back as a face and maybe feud with Big Show after he joined forces with Vickie.

How do you think the WWE will bring back Edge? Feud with Taker? Feud with Big Show?

I love Edge as a heel, but the only way I've seen for WWE to bring him back is to come to 'Takers aid during a beating at Big Shows hands, with Edge forming an alliance with 'Taker because he has seen the errors of his ways and doesn't want to be involved with the minipulative Vickie Guerrero anymore.

But who knows. I'm not entirely sure Edge as a face would work anymore.

As a face Edge is only good when doing comedy. He's a main eventer so that wont work too well. Have him initionally save 'taker then after a handshake between the two he Spears 'taker aswell. Putting him on his own & not a clear cut face or heel. He can feud with anyone afterwards.

But think of Jeff Jarrett in TNA. He done many heelish things more than Edge and he got a big face reaction when he returned.

Edge will play the ultimate tweener for the rest of his career I believe. He really does have a solid fanbase and the heat is obvious. People love how good of a heel that he is that it makes him a tweener by default. People will cheer for him, then he will start playing to the crowd a little more, but still in a condesending way.

I really don't know where he and how he comes back though. It would be really nice to see him come back and jump right back into the title scene, but the title scene looks like its going to take a turn soon. HHH just feels to me like he is going heel soon. With that Edge would have to play the tweener/face role. This also means they kind of move on from the Vicki Undertaker drama. Big Show now is essentially Edge without the horrific makeout sessions.

The potential return of Christian could make for a couple of interesting returns as well.

Stay tuned. Its interesting. Let's hope they don't blow it.

Why don't I see that happening?

I'm not interested in how he's coming back so much as who he's going to face when he comes back. I can't think of a SD main eventer at the moment who I'd like to see him feud with.

I think seeing Edge return to help out the Undertaker after a Big Show beating, with the ultimate goal in being making Vickie pay for the things she has done to him. With the Big Show in the mix, it could make for some good matches with Big Show and a partner against Taker and Edge.
