Re: Smackdown: Who shouldn't and who should be pushed?
I just find it hard to take R-Truth seriously. He's K-Kwik for fucks sake! He's blatantly getting a US title push, but i think Benjamin is making an impressive champ. I'd much rather see a feud with Kendrick and MVP, three guys who have WHC potential, but need to work up some big feuds first.
I've never gotten why people are so into Jeff Hardy to be honest. If he won the title i feel it'd just be a sympathy reign, i think there are more deserving, charistmatic guys on the roster who deserve a bigger push.
Namely:
Big Show, MVP, Benjamin and Koslov (honestly! I hated him at first but now they're actually doing something with the character i'm enjoying it).
I want Ken Kennedy back To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Jeff Hardy has been around 10 years with the W.W.E.
Jeff Hardy has have some of the most entertaining matches in the W.W.E.
Tables, Ladders & Chairs. A great match vs Undertaker in which he fell short to becoming World Champion.
I know he seems like a odd person, but fans really don't care. Everyone is unique in their own way. The problem with the W.W.E. today is that if your a World Champion you just have to work the mic to some degree, to get a decent push. Or esle it won't last long.
The Undertaker is the only character that has been years with the company and doesn't speak that much. especially in beginning of his career . In fact Kane might be better than Taker at it.
The WWE just has to work around this things with Jeff Hardy, like they've done with the Undertaker. They feel it necesarry to have him talk, but he only comes out looking stupid. I mean it's o.k. , but people would pay less attention to it, if he were in a feud with Edge or M.V.P. Triple H doesn't help him get over in the mic. Frankly i believe he's having a weak push, so weak that it just doesn't feel like he's going to win the title at the P.P.V.
Fans are more into him winning, than the storyline the WWE is pushing him with. Lame.
Re: Smackdown: Who shouldn't and who should be pushed?
Aye, my main issue with Hardy really is his total lack of mic skills. I'm aware he's done some brilliantly entertaining stuff, but i've just never been into him. There's just something about him that irritates me, i can't really put my finger on it. Nothing really to do with him being an 'odd person'. I just don't think his character has much depth, whereas when they had Matt do that whole Mattitude thing, i really enjoyed it! I think a heel turn for Jeff would be dead interesting, but i doubt they'd want to forfeit the massive merch sales, haha.
I'd like to see a decent tag division really. Hawkins and Ryder being taken a bit more seriously would be a start, they've fallen into the unfortunate 'WWE Henchmen' divison that few come out of with any dignity.

Benoit also didn't get that much mic-time and he still got over with the fans. Goes to show that it isn't promos only that make a superstar, sometimes the charistma can come from how our gimmick plays out and in Jeff's term, he gets over by taking all the risks.
I've seen alote of people bitch on him and I don't also know the reason why. Maybe because he is getting pushed to the top which I have no problem of? Maybe he's not suppose to fit in the Main Event picture which I think is absurd considering the way the WWE have built him up the past few months.
Anyways, back to the topic
People I would Push:
-Carlito & Primo Colon(I can see talent from this team. I hope the WWE can continue their push)
-Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins*To at least create some credibility in the tag team divition)
-Vlademir Kozlov(One of the better bigger mens in the Smackdown! roster)
-MVP/Umaga/Ken Kennedy(The all deserve their over due push to at least the US Title Divition because their images are slowly starting to fade)
People I would de-push:
-The Brian Kendrick(I understand the talent for pushing this Cruiserweight but in the Main Event picture? Ahead of MVP and Umaga? Cmon!)
-The Big Show(I seriously don't see anything special with this guy here. His heel turn was predictable and he made it seem fake(which it was).)
-Triple H(Seriously. I haven't seen this guy lose yet on Smackdown! He's title reign is boring as hell. His promos are getting worse. I think HHH is overrated for some reason)
Re: Smackdown: Who shouldn't and who should be pushed?
WWE
* I would push MVP into the Mainevent scene
*Jamie Noble into the Midcard scene with the Intercontinental Title around his waist
*I would Drop down both JBL and Batista. BOTH! are always in the main event and others need there time in the spotlight.
TNA
*I would push Sonjay Dutt more and Jay Lethal Less... Also less of Samoa Joe as well.
Re: Smackdown: Who shouldn't and who should be pushed?
Although this is a thread for SmackDown related pushes Blue, I agree with the Jamie Noble and JBL sentiments. However, the TNA stuff I could not disagree with more. Dutt deserves the X title certainly, but Lethal and Joe are both fantastic and although '08 has not been either of their's best year, they can both blame that on lame storylines provided by Russo & Co. and both can improve without much personal effort when given decent storylines.

I agree that MVP should be in the world title picture along with Shelton Benjamin who should lose his champions ship to Jeff Hardy only to get the WWE championship from HHH and have a triple threat match at armageddon (HHH,MVP,SB) only to have Edge return and spear them all >_>
Jamie Nible should definately be pushed, hes a great talent wasted, like most of the real talent in WWE he is wasted and should be in some sort of mid/upper-mid area with a title around his waste.
I agree with JBL, but I think it will look stupid having someone like batista who has been over pushed just drop down, Isay keep him up there untill cena returns (costing him the title) and starts off a Batista/Cena feud, again, but this time have a heel turn >__>
