Rep Power: 14 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The first edition of SD after the GAB was a good one overall, and with the return of Runjin Singh, you can see the ratings go through the roof (or more likely stay where they are) *SD opened with the VIP lonuge...I always knew MVP was great on the mic, but never to the extent where he was able to carry Jeff Hardy through a 10 segment. For those of you that have seen the film Wanted and to put it inot perspective, MVP is like Morgan Freeman where he's given the long monologues and lines that actually make sense. Whereas Jeff Hardy is like Angelina Jolie and given only one or two lines at the most at a time. Anyway, it was a good way of incorporating Jeff's, and to a lesser extent MVP's, past problems whilst plugging the wwe magazine *Jimmy Wang Yang took on Shelton in a short matchup. Shelton was allowed to talk on the mic for a bit, and I must say he's actually improving. I'd like to see him use the line "It's all about the Benjamins" as well. Anyways, Shelton's finisher seems to be being built up as the next rko in that it seemingly comes out of nowhere. *Edge and edgeheads are in a backstage segment where they basically say hi to each other, and then one o the edgeheads face festus. The standard wwe tag title storyline follows here with one of the challengers defeats one of the champs in singles match. nothing exciting happens here really, other than we actually get to see 2 tag teams feud over the tag titles....sweet! *Stevie Richards comes out to get beat by Vladamir. Nothing against stevie, but he really shouldn't have gotten as much offense as he did against an up and comer such as Vladamir. I know they were in Stevie's hometown, but if that's the way they wanted to book him, book him against an established guy such as Trips or Edge. After the match Vladamir went over to Foley and JR and said something in what i assume to be russian, probably asking why he suddenly got entrance music and why it's so cack. *6-man battle royal was pretty good for the most part. Good to see MVP get some pyro back and Kennedy is really over as a face. Runjin Singh made his long awaited return (which you knew meant Khali was going to win, so that some sort of verbal exchange could occur between Trips and Khali) Crowd were great thoughout. looks like Umaga will feud with Big Show and MVP will mix it up with Hardy leaving Kennedy in the lurch for now. what's strange is that JR built this up as the main event, yet the divas match followed...does this mean that the divas title is to SD as Cena is to RAW? (i.e. bigger than the main singles title) *Diva's action followed, and for those of you who refute my claims of McCool being too slim, the friggin belt is like twice the size of her waist...there aren't enough holes on the friggin belt to make it fit her *Kendrick vs Moore next, and kendrick is being compared to Brian Pillman on top of the attitude era HBK. Interesting. Anyway, Kendrick has shown signs of being an awesome heel and could be awesome in the future. *edge and Vicki segment to close the show. Bla blah blah, Taker is reinstated. Yay...that's pretty much the gist of it. Honorable mention to Edge's performance here. Vicki must have some retarded biology. Taker tombstones her, so she uses a wheelchair cos she can't walk. Edge spears her, so she uses a wheelchair, beause apparantly it affects your legs. Weird. Anyways, SD continues its trend of improving overall since the draft. Good overall show. Fedback and comments welcome.

Rep Power: 3 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Smackdown 25/7/08 Review I dont think he will actually "return" to smackdown untill Summerslam, he will most probabally tease Edge with his typical mind games. On the other hand, I was quite disappointed with Smackdown but it has left gaps open for next week which is good; I'd like to know who the hell this black guy is who got a short promo. Overall I am disappointed to see Khali vs. HHH at Summerslam, there must be some sort of twist or stipulation brewing up, Im hoping for a 3 way dance or something, hopefully Jeff as he is working well to get to the top. One thing I want to know Is, when will we see a legit feud with Kozlov and someone else, hes merely coming down to the ring week after week killing jobbers and weaker superstars, will we ever see him face off with ummm lets say...a lager superstar? We'll have to wait till next week I guess.

He is a two-time NWA World Champion in TNA, amongst other accolades.

Indubidably it will in Pr0xy's eyes. As for SmackDown!, I haven't seen it yet, but seriously Khali?!...at Summerslam?!...in the main event for the WWE Title?!
