No, this thread is about Santino Marella again.

He is main event in my opinion. The only problem is he needs to be a manager. Nobody seems to really care about seeing him in the ring so much, but if you don't appreciate him mic work........then you are cracee.

I would love to see him lead a Lesnar type that is great in ring and pretty horrible on the mic (not that Lesnar was). I would even like seeing him do a little Heenan style and manage stars that aren't associated with each other.

Make the transition to full time manager with a mic. Because the shit he comes up with make me enjoy each and every segment he is in. I just love to listen to this guy. haha. He just capped it off for me this week with his promo with Rey.

lol.. yeah man, everyone loves Santino. He's not going to ever main event because of his size, but damn if he's not one of the more entertaining guys in the business. I wouldn't mind seeing him be a manager type.. maybe a mouthpiece for someone.

I was going to say in my original post that him leading Rhodes and DiBiase would be cool, but they clearly don't need a mouthpiece. I was pleasantly suprised by both guys heel mic skills. Although DiBiase still does the "pause cuz im nervous" thing. no biggie though. That will go with time.

John Cena sounded like he was going to poop himself when he debuted against Angle.

But I digress. Who can Santino manage? Doesn't even need to be a new guy.

The sad thing is, watch some of his OVW stuff, he's got better skills in the ring than most. If he was slowly built back up as a good wrestler, and still given the mic freedom, he would be a top draw in a few short years.

Main event is going a bit far, no? But I like Santino and think he deserves the IC title a bit more than Kofi who is brand spankin' new and has only wrestled short matches against low-level talent on ECW.

In an interview that I read somwhere, he may be getting to lead a stable somewhere in the near future. It's been talked about backstage apparently and they are just waiting to bring some wrestlers up from developmental and come up with a good angle for them.

I love Santino's mic work, but don't feel any need to see him performing even as a manager at main event level.

I'm fine with seeing him as comedy relief on Raw. He plays his role excellently (this Monday's made me lol as much as his "squat thrusts" stuff). He's found his level and just because he's good at that, I don't need to see him moving upwards on the roster in any capacity.

I see no reason why he can't be main event, Rey Mastreo is. Santino's got a background in judo so he could pull off a shoot style match I'm sure
