All wrestlers should be part of all the brands

I think that WWE should have the business like they had it in 2000, before the draft and when each superstar would be on both Raw and Smackdown. I know people aeren't going to agree with me, but it was good watching HHH on both Raw and smackdown and Undertaker on both Raw and smackdown, It was geat, but now everything kinda sucks.

Well I liked it better back when everyone was on every show as well. Im sure the ''brands'' is one of the main reasons I don't watch anymore.

Look at it this way, no Brands = CM Punk stuck in DSW (Or whatever replaced OVW)

Dear God no, this would be a fucking horrible idea. Look at tri-brand PPVs, they are shit because you have the same guys on all the time and it has pretty much killed the tag team and mid-card divisions. They should be doing the complete opposite and make each brand as seperate as possible.

Kill yourself in shame of such a terrible idea.

CM Punk trash anyway so forget him. WWE should end this stupid brand extension they will get better matches, storylines and feuds if they do which means ratings rise.

Re: All wrestlers should be part of all the brands

Firstly, CM Punk is greatness.

Secondly what benefits would ending the brand extention bring? Keeping the brands seperate allows for more talent to be used and for there to be longer build between PPVs, or it did before the tri-branded PPVs...

Re: All wrestlers should be part of all the brands

Killsteve's kinda right on this one. We need young fresh talent to keep the wrestling business running, working from the ground up from rookie, to mid-carder, to a main-eventer, to highlight major PPVs and sell merchandise as well. But again, ratings have been a dud and the three brands should become one once again.

Elaborating, it's better to just have one main event scene. Trying to push two top level feuds that hard is putting a strain on the collective creative teams. It's also a good idea seeing as how the ratings for all three shows has declined lately. You've got people watching RAW that don't give two shits about Smackdown, and vice versa. Then hardly no one watches ECW. I think combining the brands would, in effect, allow WWE to share the wealth.

No, it requires for more talent to be used. Lets be honest, people like Cody Rhodes, Colin Delaney, and Mike Knox should not be on TV, but WWE has to bring guys like this up from developmental just to fill up programming.

There was alot of crap before the brand extention, just like there was a lot of greatness after the brand extension. The decline in quality has mostly been the last 2 year so so and even then it's more to do with the booking rather than the brand extention.

How is it putting a strain on the creative teams? Theres a whole fucking team for each individual brand. Only one is necasary, let alone for a whole team...on each brand.

The whole argument to do with ratings has nothing to do with brand extention, it's general fact that wrestling isn't as popular as it used to be due to many factors.

I agree that it goes two ways, but at the same time without the brand extention and the amount of roster spaces it produces there would be no room for talents like Punk, Burke, Morrison, Yang, Noble, etc.
