Hardcore Holly - Anger Issues?

Monthly I get a wrestling magazine here in Scotland named Powerslam Magazine, many will know it and others won't. Anyway, I decided to re-read the Rene Dupree interview in the end of February edition and well basically he was quizzed on beatings he took from Holly:

Q: On November 21, 2004 you were beaten up for real by Hardcore Holly in a house show tag team match. Tell us what happened.

A: Me, Bob (Hardcore) and Billy Gunn (Kip James) were riding together. Billy, for some reason, wasn't there one week, so me and Bob were riding together and, because I was under 25, he would always rent the car because I wasn't old enough. Then, the day before a SmackDown! taping, there happened to be a hurricane in Mobile (Alabama) which is where Holly's from, so he had to fly home immediately. So I was left with the rental car, which I took the next morning and drove to the building. But, on the way, I must have gone through a speed camera on the highway. I was unaware that I'd got a ticket. Holly received it because the car was registered in his name. He didn't check his mail for, like, two months and, when he received it, a certain amount of time had elapsed, so he had to go to court . . . it was a big deal. So of course I got blamed for it. I didn't know: the car wasn't registered in my name. He confronted me at an airport, very violently. I offered to pay for it and apologised - but, in the wrestling world, things don't really go that way. He decided to take it out on me in other ways. That's when the incident happened.

Q: I understand that Holly struck you with a full-force chair shot to the head and punched you several times in the face . . .

A: (Interrupting) Yeah. I'm sure the office knew what was going on. He took liberties on me and I didn't fight back: I thought I was in the wrong. He kicked my head in, I got a black eye, and that was it.

Q: Between this and the infamous Matt Cappotelli beating, I think it's safe to say that Holly needs anger management.

A: Yeah. I think he's got anger issues. There's a lot of people who dislike him . . . He has temperament problems. But what's done is done. It's no big deal to me. I even paid him back the money afterwards.

Now, I've got question and some thoughts of my own:

1) I don't recall this incident but I remember he had some legit personal issues with Brock Lesnar which resulted in Brock dropping Holly on his head (which I don't condone.) but what happened during the infamous Matt Cappotelli incident?

Also, are these three incidents the only times Holly's ever blown a gasket as it where?

And if you want me to write out the interview in it's entirely say, since I'm feeling patriotic: Aye!

During Tough Enough he worked very stiff with Cappotelli I believe. Basically beat the hell out of him.

He works to stiff in the ring he beat the hell out of Dupree and Copatolli and him and Lensar had issues and Brock broke his Neck (which was a little brutal and un called for)

Not as if Brock broke his neck intentionally. It was Holly's fault as he "sandbagged" himself so Brock couldn't get him the whole way up, leading to Holly's broken neck.

At least Holly got a main event title shot out of it in the end, well at the Royal Rumble, so as close as Holly was ever going to come to a PPV main event anyways.

Wow, Rene sounds like a pussy. You think I'm gonna just sit there and let someone hit on me for real and on purpose where I can actually get pretty fucked up if it goes too far? And after offering to pay out of your own pocket to fix things. Which he did later anyway.
What an idiot.

And I remember when Brock dropped him. He didn't look like he gave two shits about it either. I vaguely remember Matt getting pretty messed up too.

Hardcore looks to be a real dick and I'm sure these aren't the only times that something has happened.

And the only thing uglier than the beating I'm gonna give Edge at Night of Champions is the woman he's marrying. OWNAGE!

Rene wasnt a pussy. He felt like he owed it to Holly , which seems ok. But i think Hardcore does generally have a problem and needs to serve some time at an Anger Management class!

Holly was never even a good wrestler.. even in his prime in about 1999-2001 when he had his Rivalry with Jericho and Chyna over the IC Belt. So why WWE still has him under contract i'll never know. And yeah god , he is a hothead , and it just makes you wonder that if a Hothead like him can get into the wrestling buisness... Practically ANYONE can!
