All smarks insult Hogan's wrestling ability to be fair, in a worse way they do Cena if anything.

Hogan gets more consistent cheers due to the frequency he appears on WWE television I'd presume, compared to Cena who people are, as said, more bored of.

I actually dislike Cena, in my oppinion he is over rated. I loved him back on smackdown before he was drafted, but as soon as he went to raw they took away everything from him, he was great as U.S Champ on Smack down, he shouldn't have been drafted.

i want the freestyling cena back too...since he dropped that gimick, i haven't been able to impress my mates with freestyles that I originally stole from cena claiming they were my own.

Serves me right to be honest, cos i cant rap for shit, and the last time i did i got booed off the stage at a battle rap...wordlife!!!

I'm gonna have to call on people saying that others only say Cena sucks in the ring as an excuse to hate on him. First, lets make it clear that I didn't like him then and I sure as hell don't now.

He does suck. And no, I don't mean he lacks the ability to actually do things in the ring, I've seen him do it before, he just doesn't do anything half interesting anymore. It isn't always about your wrestling technique either; you have to entertain. He was way more entertaining years ago. Hell, look at his very first match against Kurt Angle. I thought that was a great match and I don't like him or Kurt. Or his match against Jericho. Think it was at Vengeance, but don't hold me to it. He was still doing power moves then, but he was vibrant, energetic and always moving, showing that he was trying to give his all.

As for him changing gimmicks, yes. He should have come back at the Rumble or the following Monday and adapted that older gimmick. I didn't like him, but I loved that he repped whatever town he was in. He didn't seem fake then. Now he truly is the "Franchise Boy". I don't think he has to be a heel to go back to that or that he has to really get into the rapping part as much as he used to. I don't want to see the Marine/Superman anymore. I'd rather he just be cool, laid back and cocky again.

And the only thing uglier than the beating I'm gonna give Edge at Night of Champions is the woman he's marrying. OWNAGE!

Well, I guess that settles it. Anyone saying Cena sucks in the ring must only be looking for an excuse to lay into him...because there's no way anyone could legitimately disagree with you...

I've been saying that pretty much since he moved to RAW. So amending my earlier post, I'd agree that not only should he go back to his previous gimmick, but should also be heel again. I'm seriously surprised he has lasted this long as a face. He was booed fairly consistently throughout 2007, but Vince "I don't givafuck" McMahon decided to continue squeezing the revenue-sponge that is babyface John Cena until it is completely dried up, which apparently hasn't happened yet.

Yes, I have. Have you seen Shawn Michaels' chops? Horrible, and yet.. he's one of the best performers there is. I fail to see how Cena is awful in the ring. He's not awful. When he's with the right opponent, he can put on a pretty damn good performance. Did you see the praise him and Umaga received for their match at the Rumble?

That's not a fluke. Guys like Snitsky suck. Deuce and Domino suck. Khali sucks. Cena does not.
