Bret Hart dvd collection
Anyone pick this up yet? I got it not long after it released and its really very good. The interview portion is outstanding and the matches Hart picked out are topnotch. I already missed this guy being around, but after watching these dvds its apparent how big of a loss he is to the wrestling world.

No bigger Bret Hart fan than me. I love having most of his greatest matches and it was great to see him evenif it wasn't in front of a live crowd. I did miss him for a very long time after he retired.

:bowdown: Very nice indeed, Mikk!

I got to meet him at a book signing back in 2000, great guy. My son was 6 at the time and totally starstruck when we got up to him. Instead of gaffing him off, Hart actually took the time to draw my son into a conversation with him. Did I mention he's a great guy?

DK, at first I felt like that too about some of the matches on there. But after you watch them? Great matches. Thats part of what I meant when I said you don't know how much you miss the guy til you watch this set. I just wish they had at least one of his Yoko matches on there. You can see what a great storyteller he is and what great flow and pacing his matches have. The match with Diesel on there is one of my favorites. Its totally worth picking up. He also said he wanted to put that WM ironman match with HBK on there but it was too long.

I got it for Christmas. My mom wrapped it together with HBKs book so it was a pretty screwed up combo :happy: It is a good DVD set but I wish HBK and Bret could have worked out their crap with each other to get at least one match with HBK on there.

I thought they probably would be, I just keep looking at the contents and thinking, erm....doesn't look as immediately good to me as the Foley, Michaels and Flair ones did. I shall just have to take the plunge

Edit** They're gonna have a hell of a Kurt Angle DVD to release one day!!

Yeah, its too bad Hart and Angle never got to mix it up. Can you imagine what those two would do with a year long feud? Angle's right up there though in my estimations. I consider Hart the best ever, but Angle is in the team picture at least.

Whenever they ask Bret that question, and he seems to get it asked at every interview, if he was good to go now who would he want to wrestle........he always answers Angle.

It's a shame it'll never happen, but I've got tons of Benoit/Angle footage which is, according to Kurt himself, just about as good as he could ever be.

Gives me an idea for a thread.
