Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() | I'm not 12 and I'm not a girl But I'm still a Cena mark. I like the fact he doesn't go overboard in the ring he plays to his in-ring strengths. Yeah he ain't the best face but he's far and away better than any other faces WWE tried to create in the last 3 years (Batista's only face coz he doesn't speak). I like the guy I can see him in the top echelons of the card for the next 5-7 years, why can't you guys? |

Because for the most part they are. I respect the opinions of most of the people here, because they can justify their opinions with more than just "He sucks, Benoit rules!!!" But seriously, the Internet is ruining wrestling.

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | I agree to a point, but I think Vince McMahon is doing more to ruin wrestling today than the internet. I still can't stand Cena though, but you guys like what you like. I see too little wrestling ability and too much Steve Austin when the guy is on tv. I was actually cheering on Chris Masters last night. I wanted to gouge out my own eyes. |

I kind of think that the way they regurgitate old storylines and pay such little attention to their company history and library (unless it's in DVD form) that they in fact want to lose fans after a certain number of years because they start becoming more and more disgruntled. At times it's like they only really want the 15-21 age group and that's all.

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Yeah, I agree there. To take the internet point a little further, I think its the people who keep up on the internet then act like they're a part of the business are the ones who make the whole thing miserable. Its kind of how gaming has gotten, the same demographic you've fingered does the same thing with videogaming too. Some people aren't satisfied to just kick back and have fun, they have to be the ultimate authority (little known cousin of Jim Helwig) on it. |

There's nothing wrong with saying "This current Hogan storyline sucks".. I don't see the difference. People watch a movie and then talk about what they liked, what they didn't, why can't you do the same with wrestling? It's all entertainment. As far as Cena goes, I don't think he's working as a face as well as WWE anticipated because while he cheers up the younger age group, most people our age want to see somebody a little edgier, like Austin for example.. Personally, I don't like Cena as a face because I think his promos have become bland, and his wrestling in the ring is boring. But that's just me.. I'd much rather watch a Kurt Angle match, but again, that's just me.

Hell I knew how Lord of The Rings, King Kong and loads of other films ended (if you want to lump wrestling in as a form of similar entertainment) but it didn't spoil my enjoyment in watching them.

The larger point I was trying to make was, what's wrong with analyzing a little bit?
