Is something strange going to happen? We’re all agreed that Mike Adamle is totally useless as a WWE/ECW play by play commentator. But is he slowly becoming a sort of ‘cult hero’?

Already by reading other forums, people are getting kicks out of his one liners, and the banter that goes on between him and other wrestlers doing guest commentary.

Is he going down the road of Santino? A guy we didn’t care for at first, but now has become one of the highlights of Raw?? Or does he just annoy the hell out of you?

You have to admit his one liners are classic… HAVE MEEEERRRRRRRCY!!!

I think now Adamle is going to portray the "dumb" character, just embrace it since it's public knowledge he has no knowledge of wrestling at all. I think that hurts ECW in a way because it's nice to have a good play-by-play man to listen to during some of the boring matches.

Who knows though, he might catch on. I'm frankly sick of him.

I think what hes doing is thanks to Vince, Vince again has made something entertaining for the viewers gotta give him props. I think its hilarious when there's a guest wrestler in there lol like Miz a few weeks back, very funny.

yeah his one liners are pretty good, or how he messes up on things (on purpose hopefully) during that "extreme rules" match he kept calling the table a picnic table, got me every time

I don'r care for the 'have mercy' line but he's pretty funny. 'Reach out and touch someone, Michael' has got to be the worst call I've ever heard lol

I don't care much for a guy who couldnt be bothered to do any research for his job. I'm sure his one-liners are good, maybe he stole them off jerry lawler from his hey day...or nips them from various sites

I cant freaking stand this guy. I was listening to him do commentary with Lawler last Monday thinking.........."Is this supposed to be a joke?" His commentary was sooooooooo bad that is was obvious that he had ZERO clue of who anybody was.

If it was supposed to be a joke it sucked. I also wondered if it was to make us appreciate JR more, because I was thanking baby Jesus when they came back from commercial break and Ross was back.

I hadn't read any rumors about it being a work, but I may have just flat out missed it. I thought is was just a clusterfuck

He started out fucking up everything he touched and viewers made a youtube video out of his fuckups.. then WWE caught on and just ran wuth it so now he goes over-the-top.. kinda like when Maria was a backstage interviewer, though she was funnier.
