I'm not trying to belittle you, or criticise you or anything, but do you understand the concept of the storyline? The idea isn't for the fans to give Regal respect. Just the opposite. It's along the same lines of when they censored the You Suck from Angle's entrance. It just made the crowd even more ravenous at his entrance.

This angle had better not turn Orton face. He was so vanilla during his last face run. Besides, there are a lack of good top heels right now on RAW, so Orton needs to stay put.

I would like to see this turn into Regal vs. Triple H to be honest. Could be an amusing feud, but would have to take place after Judgement Day.

Fact is Regal is a heel, if he is annoying you then he is doing his job. If he is making you hate him then he is doing a brilliant job.

My concern is that they're overdoing it already. Having the light turned off 3 times during a show is milking it a little too much

I agree. I realize that the storyline could do wonders for RAW, however, I feel that they are taking it a little too far and in the end it could harm it. I honestly feel that this Orton/Regal thing will turn Orton face. He will not win the title back at JD...then some how HHH will turn heel, Orton will turn face and then Orton will win the title back. All of this based on Cena not returning for a while. After his movie and he is back full time I can see Cena getting the title back. In fact I KNOW he will regain the gold.

I can't see why WWE would turn Randy face. His wrestling persona is an amped up version of the prick he is in real life so he plays the role wonderfully. You only have to look at his late 2004 face run to see how cheesy he was as a face. In short I can't see it happening
