What ever happened to Save Us Y2J?

Has anyone else noticed that Jericho came back with a promise to "save us from Orton" yet their feud ended within a few weeks? And then Jericho went on to feud with other people and was chosen to take over Jeff's title while he was suspended for drug use! I am so pissed that it ended up being Triple H that "saved us" from the "age of Orton". I honestly feel that Jericho would have been an awesome title holder, lol. I read somewhere that Jericho is supposed to have a title match with Orton on May 5th, I wonder if they are booting Orton down to Intercontinental Championship, that would be tooo funny. But anyway, what are your thoughts on the abandoned feud between Orton and Jericho?

I think he kinda lost the Saveus stuff...He is even using his Walls of Jericho again, which imo is saying he is done with the saveus shit. Tbh, his return wasn't big enough to make a lot of people care.

I don't know what happened. It was a dumb reason for him to comeback to begin with. Either way, I like where he's heading now. He has a title, the Highlight Reel is back, and this storyline with HBK is pretty interesting.

I agree that the storyline with HBK is good, however, he only got the title he has because Jeff was suspended and they needed a title match ASAP. I would have really liked to see him become WWE champion. He is a really good wrestler and completely AWESOME on the mic, there is no reason why he shouldn't get the title. I have noticed that they are trying to make him heel with his storyline with HBK. It worked for Batista, he went heel nicely, however, Y2J stills gets cheers like mad when he comes out. He is just that awesome I suppose...hhaha

they probably thought it'd be too early in his comeback to win the title.. I'd expect him to receive a huge push once he's full-fledged heel.

I hope his heel turn doesn't work out, I really enjoy Jericho as a face. But you are probably right. I hope to see him with championship gold before or shortly after mania next year. I have a feeling that the game isn't going to hold it for long. And I also think that Jericho is going to defend his title to orton on monday night. I read that Orton and Jericho had a title match for May 5th, and since orton lost his title it has to be for the Intercontinental.

I think HHH will hold the title until SummerSlam and drop it to John Cena in Boston. Then you could see Jericho take it from Cena if he's still a heel..

His return was a flop. Firstly it was dragged out too long then he got a medicore reaction when he actually did return. I said this before he even came back & i think Crocker did aswell. He'll come back, short feud with the champion, lose the feud, drop to midcard.

Well the only reason they gave it to the game is probably because Cena is shooting a movie and can't handle being a full time champ and do his movie. So you are probably right in saying that Cena will beat the game around summer slam.

I am LOVING the new attitude of Jericho. It seems SO much less phony and just more the way he was all throughout his career. He was always best as a condesending, smartass. That's when he got the majority of his fans. He is so much more natural working that way. While I agree the comeback was not even close to as good as it should have been (Jericho just showing up one night as a heel would have been amazing), his return is still a sucess in my eyes. I am very glad to have him back.

I loved the look he was giving HBK when Michaels was hobbling to the ring like "Oh yeah, take it easy there buddy" totally thinking he is faking.
