I could've sworn that since CM Punk went over the IC champion clean, he was destined to win the tournament. Even though he lost in the finale, CM came off looking very good with his wins over Hardy and Jericho.
Unless WWE is planning on putting Regal back as a full time competitor, I'm completely dumbfounded by this decision. Was having the KotR tournament just a reason to get a 3-hour timeslot for them? Or are they going to run with this angle in the next few weeks? I hope so. Or maybe this will turn into a feud between CM and Regal? I have no clue...

I agree. Once I saw Jericho sit in the throne after he won his first match, I saw himbeing King, But they let punk beat him, and he beat him clean! Poor Jericho.
Would you have rather him lost to Hornswoggle? I don't get how losing to MITB winner CM Punk gets a "poor Jericho."

I'd love to see regal back as a full time wrestler. He's great on the mic. Think they missed a good opportunity to push the likes of Bengiman by having Hornswoggle and Khali in it tho. Reckon it'll come out that regal fixed the matches and start a feud with Finlay about getting his son involved
