I'm liking this guy alot. He plays the heel character very well. Putting him with Melina was great. I love managers especially for heels. It gives them that extra edge.

I could see Mark Henry as a future main eventer. The unstoppable force kinda like Yokozuna. The truth is, that I have always liked this guy. Back in the days, Henry and D-Lo were 2 of my faves.

I hope his push doesnt end when Batista beats him.

I have to disagree with you here.

Henry was always slow and boring in the ring. His skits with D-Lo were decent but his in ring ability was lacking.

I will admit I haven't watched WWE or Smackdown lately but from the photos and reports i've seen, he doesn't seem to have changed.

I will reserve current judgement until I see him in action again.

I dont disagree that he might not be that good in the ring. But wrestling is more than that. Plus if they kept his matches short, then there shouldn't be a problem. His huge, his matches shouldnt go over the 5 minute mark. The same formula should be used with The Big Show.

The guy sucks, and I had to laugh when it took him 5 minutes to get into the cage on SmackDown this week. Not to mention the fact that fans have ZERO interest in him, I fully believe that a Batista-Mark Henry main event on PPV would get a really low buy rate(even lower than No Mercy). Thank god the WWE has no interest in renewing his contract when it expires in August.

According to Wrestling Observer WWE is not interested in re-signing him. I think they are only trying to get the most out of him rather than pay him all that money to stay down in OVW. Don't expect this push to last long, I feel like they are just using him to make Batista look strong, just like they did with Hardcore Holly against Brock Lesnar a couple of years ago.

His fat ass 10 year deal finishes this year. This is one last potential pay day before Vince gets this liability off his wage roll once and for all. No need to read any more into this "push" than that. The guy is injury prone, blows up in five minute matches and after 10 years has shown only a tiny tiny improvement in all that time. He'll be gone before you know it!!
