| Triple H thread I have always thought that Triple H was hurting WWE by refusing to put certain wrestlers over. But after some thinking is it a possibility that Triple H is helping the WWE instead of hurting it, yes you could argue the case that Triple H doesn’t put over stars so therefore he is hurting the WWE. But you could also argue the case that even though Triple H doesn’t put people over regulary that just being in a feud with someone that has as much star power as Triple H could elevate that person even just a little bit. Triple H’s feud with Umaga I thought was very interesting and ever since they fed Umaga to Cena at New Years Revolution 2007 just to end his undefeated streak like that I never took Umaga seriously. But when he worked with Triple H I found the matches to be pretty interesting, granted if Triple H would have put over Umaga a few times that could have been one of the top feuds of last year. Even though Umaga is limited on the stick, Triple H did pretty good in that feud. Triple H has had 2 career threatening injuries so maybe it is time to wind down and start helping the next generation, or maybe in Triple H’s mind and in the mind of others his game is far from over. And maybe Triple H still has a few good runs at the top left in him. But honestly he has to come to realisation because his injuries could have ended his career I think Triple H needs to think about the next generation. Lets fave it he isn’t getting any younger he needs to go down the same road as HBK and Ric Flair did, entering feuds with younger guys and getting them over instead of trying to clinch on to his top spot. Triple H also makes WWE alot of money or else he wouldn’t be as big as he is now, so Triple H brings in alot of money for WWE which is obviously helping them but he is burying younger guys which is hurting WWE. But do the positives weigh out the negatives?. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Triple H helping or hurting WWE? Triple H is a smart palyer of the game, just like Hulk Hogan was. They're not just going to put anybody over unless they feel thats whats best for business. I mean if Triple jobbed all of 2002 or 2003 how special would it have been to see Benoit make him tap at the time. | ||||||||||||||

![]() | Re: Triple H helping or hurting WWE? I personally don't think he's hurting WWE at all and hasn't ever I don't think. Sure back it may seem like he always hogged the WWF/E Championship and World Heavyweight Championship's back in the day but he was only reaping the rewards of his hard work and whatnot. I mean just in the past couple years he's put over the likes of - John Cena, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Batista (3 times in a row) among others. Triple H is very smart and knowledgeable when it comes to wrestling. Although sometimes I get kinda fed up with him on how he won't go to Smackdown at all even though they desperatley need some star power since Smackdown really only has Edge, Undertaker and somewhat Batista. But I think over the past couple years ever since 2005 he has helped the company alot. He's allowed younger stars to have the WWE Championship/WHC and put them over.

| Re: Triple H helping or hurting WWE? Quote:
You wanna know how Triple H hurt WWE? Squashing some of the most over talent on the roster at the time, Kane, RVD, Booker T, Umaga. Killing other proples momentium for no reason other than to make himself look good. Goldberg, Scott Steiner, RVD, Jericho. Goldberg was unbeaten then Triple H came along & killed that. Steiner was bearly in the company three months when Triple H crushed him two months in a row & Steiner got sent to the Tag division as a result. RVD was the most popular guy on the roster & would have sold a shit load of merchandice as champion. Only problem being Triple H was in the middle of the longest heel title reign in over a decade. For Jericho, he was Undusputed Champion & going into a match with Triple H at Wrestlemania. How was Jericho involved? He was Stephanie's bitch. One week on Raw, the Hurricane took Rock to the limit & i think even beat him. Triple H destroyed the Hurricane the very next week. Makeing the Hurricane look like a one night special & the Rock a loser. Triple H has not helped WWE when he should have. He has helped himself. I believe WWE would have a better main event picture now if Triple H wasent married to the boss' daughter.

| Re: Triple H helping or hurting WWE? Well, Triple H isn't even remotely relative anymore and he has a ANOTHER title reign from beating Randy Orton. good job | |||||||||||||||

| Re: Triple H helping or hurting WWE? This is old news and i have so much details about this that i'm not going to discuss it right now not this late anyway. So i'll metion just some of the most current facts. Believe it or not. These facts show the power one wrestler has over the creative team. I could be completely right on the outcome or not,but it doesn't matter when i have so much facts about the truth behind HHH. For now i just say that Booker T was sent from Smackdown to Raw so HHH could have a comeback storyline which he would brag about being the real King. 2nd after less then a year they renew the King of the Ring. I knew right away someone from Raw would win it. Especially a heel (bad guy) This would make someone have a similar storyline as King; as Booker had on Smackdown. That makes for good storylines especially for a guy like HHH. So he could come on to say i'm the real king of kings and so on. Think about this after less then one year they shipped the King of the ring, to be from SmackDown to all the 3 Brands. Why? So someone from Raw could win it. For the above reasons. If the king of the ring winner was going to be from Smackdown. Why mix the 3 companies? It was just a way to hide the true reason; instead of just making the King of the Ring from Raw. So people wouldn't notice why was it taken away from SmackDown. Well the WWE doesn't care about Smackdown as much as RAW. ECW forget about it .SmackDown has 2 ECW wrestlers as Champions and the ECW chamipon is from Smackdown. There's no real identity there. The Draft is a joke. If Raw needs something they'll get it. Like when Orton went to Raw. They made a You get fire match in Smackdown so Raw could have him. Or they'll say the wrestler contract was up and sign any wrestler they want. Or in HHH case he was drafted to Smackdown then traded the same week for Booker and the Dudleys who would later be release. All Well out Plan.HHH and HBK don't want to go to the other shows and they have the power to do what they want. They shipped Friend Batista to SmackDown so he could be champion there without getting into HHH way and effect there friendship. HBK was sent to SmaackDown for an injured Batista, but refused so they sent in Kurt Angle. Jeff Hardy could have won the Royal Rumble and be the champ at Wrestlemania, But i guess you have to wait to your much older to get a shot at the title.Like they did with RVD.(but that's another story) Jeff was going to win the money in the bank, but for some reasons you might or might not know, they chaged it. So they had to replace him with CM Punk. So because HHH was planning on being champion they kept J.Hardy on hold for later in the year. Even though HHH gave himself the title in a match against Orton not to long ago in 2007.But since he was preparing himself to have a run at Mania or Backlash he drop it the same day. It's all about getting to 16 and over. That way nobody would argue about him being champion all the time. If anyone things his return with DX was about the fans there wrong. It's more about getting Popular enough to show he deserves to be champ. When he was becoming lame and boring. How do you keep guys who were getting Popular be un Popular. 1 by making him talk bad about the fans. 2 by making him loose alot. 3 by associating them with another unpopular star.So instead of fans choosing there stars they have fans boo them and get tired of them. That way those wrestlers won't argue about being good enough over with the fans to deserve a World Title shot and at the same time make them not chase your title. That has happen to guys like Mr. Kennedy,Carlito, and M.V.P. Guys who were becoming popular were put into silly roles and loosing roles.MVP started swearing more at the fans and loosing more that stop him from becoming to be cheered to be booed. Carlito was put in silly storylines with Torrie Wilson and Trish. In which many people don't like. Kennedy after winning the Money in the Bank was put as a Face (good guy)But after he got injured he was sent to Raw,lost his title match at wrestlemania and was made a heel so he wouldn't interfere with other wrestlers popularity, and title run. It easy to make him a heel, they just mixed him with disliked superstars and Vince. Even Jericho has been shutdown from almost the very beginnig, there's alot to say about that ,but i won't comment on that now. The only ones that could be Faces are HBK and HHH.Plus they didn't want to add a member to their group, because they didn't want anyone else to be popular with them. Everyone wanted them to do so,but they just didn't want to give "beef" to anyone else. And the things they do good, are only done to not be notice, because everyone knows who runs the show. One more thing .Usually people who are involve on a storyline with Vince is that there getting a big push,But it only has happen to the same ones.HHH,HBK. and before Austin and a few others. Not even Cena has had a good storyline with Vince. He had one with Bischoff. who is not disliked like as much as Vince is.Who acts way much evil. So if you believe it ,or you don't: There's one person sabotaging all this with others help of course. So he could look good, hold back others, let others have long title reigns like Cena so they won't break his record, later on.It doesn't matter if he's a heal or Face he always finds out how to be champ. And make the other opponent look like a fool. Like his Elimination Chamber match with goldberg. HHH Fought like 5 min and beat goldberg. Then beat him up even more with evolution. I bet he wouldn't make himself loose that way, then look like a fool as often as he does to others;without getting something in return.Any way theres so much i know that i'll let you know when i can.For those interested in facts. All you have to do is see the history from about 10 years ago. coming from ex DX fan, an ex HHH fan who was very happy he defeated Foley for the title ; For the very 1st time. But that was then, and this is now.So if there's just one person interested i'll tell you even more scoop about that and anything that comes to mind. See yah. | |||||||||||||||
