| Re: triple h question Who says that? I doubt many will dissagree with me saying he was better but i wouldent say awesome. Personnaly for me, Triple H was at his best before he started to resemble a jakked up T-Rex. I think he hit his peak around 1997-1998 for Wrestling Ability, after that he got too big to be able to maintain the level he had previously. | |||||||||||||||

| Re: triple h question I would actually say he DID peak in 2000, his matches with Foley, Rocky and Austin around that time were proberly the best of his career. By the way how slim is Triple H looking at the moment? | |||||||||||||||

| Re: triple h question is he? i can't tell he is still a great wrestler though, hands down, but i agree with crock his matches in 2000 were great, wasn't that the evolution era? cause he was great then too, granted batista/orton/flair helped him win most of the time | |||||||||||||||

God is right Evolution was 2003/04, 2000 was McMahon/Helmsley. I'd have to agree 2000 was his peak. | ||||||||||||||||

| Re: triple h question I have to disagree about 2000. For me when Shawn Michaels left he stepped up his game (no pun intended) & produced quality he hasent been able to reproduce. 1999 signaled the start of his slip, 2000 continued it. When he got injured for the first time (2001 i think), that was the end of him being a great wrestler. He came back massive but at the expense of his speed & mobility in the ring. At times it was like he was neck deep in glue. His mic work etc have continued to improve but the question was about his wrestling ability. For me, it was around 1999 when he started bulking up that he began to lose some of the ability. | |||||||||||||||

| Re: triple h question Look at who he faced. He faced The Rock six times. Foley three times (Two of which were Foley gimmicks), Kurt Angle three times, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Steve Austin. If he couldent manage to have a good match against them, then he has no bussiness main eventing or even midcarding. Benoit & Angle could have a great match with Moppy! Jericho could come damn close. Austin & Rock are two of the most entertaining ever. I guarantee if he had faced Foley three times in a row, in three regular one-on-one matches, they would get worse each month. Foley was in his element so was able to make the matches good before the bell even rang, all he had to do afterwards was show up & take a beating. Put anyone against that calibre of opponent & your going to get a good match. I never denied Triple H was still a good wrestler, i just said he wasent as good as before. His ladder match against the Rock in 1998 for the IC title was much better than any of the six he had against him in 2000. | |||||||||||||||

| Re: triple h question Perry Saturn was underrated as a wrestler and could be entertaining in the ring. That being said whether it's his opponents or not 2000 visibly was probably his best year in the ring. Those are the matches I hear most people talking about and most of it is pretty good so it can't be that bad. | |||||||||||||||
