| Tx for all the props guys. 8. Sting transforms into the Crow - This was perhaps the best gimmick at the time and maybe EVER. WCW built him up well and I loved how he was basically invincible. The way he used to come from the ceiling...the way he hardly spoke...the way he was so dark...the way they brought in fake Stings...the bat and basically everything. Eventually they destroyed his gimmick, but thats just WCW for you. It was to be expected. His match with Hollywood Hogan was the beginning of the end. Such a great build up tho, even though the match was CRAPPOLA. Anyway those were good days. | ||||||||||||||

| The first match between Sting and Hogan at Starcade really screwed up the crow Sting character because technically Hogan beat Sting and there was no fast count(because I think Nick Patrick was a little slow in his count and blew the spot). The first moment that comes to mind in the debut of Chris Jericho in the WWE. I remember watching for weeks this countdown that would appear from time to time on the Titan Tron. Then in August 1999 The Rock was doing a promo when the countdown appeared and was at the 2 minute mark, after it hit 0 and I saw "JERICHO" flash on the screen I jumped out of my chair and couldn't believe Y2J was in WWE(since I didn't have the internet at the time). | ||||||||||||||

| 7. Royal Rumble 1992 - This was one of my favorite pay per views ever. From Flair winning after drawing early and Macho Man going after Jake The Snake, Bobby Heenan screaming "be fair to Flair" lol, this was an incredible event. I also loved the ending when Hogan screwed Justice. It was different and watching people boo The Hulkster was cool. I was also a big fan of Sid at the time. Too bad they ruined everything by dubbing the original commentating and the fans. Also the promo Flair cut to end the show was awesome. | ||||||||||||||

That was the single stupiest thing ever said over the airways. That single line KILLED WCW's momentum. I marked out hard when HHH beat the Rock at WM2000. It was the first time a heel ever walked out of Mania as the champ. HHH beat him clean too. I believe that match solidified HHH for good. | ||

| I would love to see two heels walk out of Mania as champs but I think a lot of people would get pissy. In case you're wondering, I'd love to see Orton go over Dave and Edge go over Cena and or Triple H. | |||||||||||||||

| Being a Foley geek, a lot of mine center around him. The first title win was amazing, and WCW giving away the result made the night even better. Mick Foley Put My Ass On This Seat. The Cactus Jack transformation before the Street Fight was spectacular too. I think in his Hard Knocks & Cheap Pops video, Foley says that that promo was so brilliant because HHH reacts so well. All Foley does is basically take off a shirt, but HHH looks believbly scared. I love all the ChrEdgley stuff too. When E & C and Foley got together, it was really great comedy. And something I talk about a lot: Mick's Promo to HHH, while sitting atop a ride-on lawnmower... "Go ahead HHH, you punch me. But if you do, it won't just be your wallet I'll hurt, it'll be your pride. I want you on our shows, because you are that damn good. And I want that match, with Jericho, at Fully Loaded, because it will be that damn good. But as good as you are, as much as I want you, I do NOT NEED YOU. You are not bigger than the WWF, and you are not bigger than me. You take one punch, and when I get up I'll make damn sure your days of maineventing are over. You understand me? I will book you in every circus & sideshow in this country. I will book you in gymnasiums. Nobody will know who you are." | |||||||||||||||
