Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley seems to be doing ok in the WWE but it seems right now he's stuck in never land. He came in and got the typical " three month WWE push" and managed to connect with the crowd, thus leading to the US title. He continued to get over so he faced off with Booker T and many felt he could/should have won the title but they went with Booker thus dropping down Lashley. He then lost the US title due to an injury and has been pretty much highcard jobbing and midcard squashing since then. and now looks to be set to feud with Tatanka, talk about a fall from grace Anyways, I rambled on about all this to ask your opinions on Lashley. Do you think he will achieve main event status in the WWE? Do you think he's been handled correctly thus far?

he shouldent have had a title match, that just raised expectations for him, if he hadent got that noone would be thinking like this. everyone would just be waiting for him to get another shot at the us title.

To be quite honest, I find him boring in these dead end feuds with Tatanka, and the rest of the losers. Well, he shouldn't be champ, but I would like to see a pure fight with FInlay, like a no DQ match. That would be awesome IMO.

Lashley is suited for the US Division, because he is an ok wrestler but his mic skills are beyond poor. Until his mic skills improve he should remain in the US title hunt. Because Smackdown really need a champion who can wrestle and entertain.

lashley will never be world champ as with that responsibility he'd be forced to entertain on the mic. paul is right, he's beyong terrible on the mic. his wrestling skills are nothing special either...he's pretty much a younger version of batista...just a big, powerhouse type. i think he's a multiple time u.s. champ for his career, nothing more. his only way to the heavyweight belt would be to give him a real prick manager (a bobby heenan type) who could do all the talking while lashley stood in the background looking mean.

I agree with a few of things you've stated here .... yes lashley is nothing special in the ring and is nothing more than a worse version of batista. Buuuuuuttttt... i do believe that he will one day end up headlining the WWE. Once he gains a bit more experience and can carry himself fairly well on the mic IMO the WWE will be doing everything they can do slot him into a mainevent position. Because once he gains more confidence the man will have everything the WWE likes to have in a headliner... the man is fuckin huge... the crowd digs him.. and he has the ability to sell merch.

We might think he's lame.. but aslong as the majority digs him (the kids) the WWE will push him.
