Is it true that El Mistico is supposed to come to WWE?

Not that i know of. Mistico has sent feelers to TNA to see if there is any interest. If he gets to work with the company, it would be on a special attraction type of deal due to his commitments with CMLL.

I heard about WWE being interested in him and that they were in negotiations but that he will not be able to wear his mask for some reasons dealing with Rey Mysterio? I rea about this like 2-3 months ago though so I thought nothing about it but who is this guy though? I just know that he's a wrestler in Mexico.

I read something about this a few months ago, It would be a shame if Mistico went to either WWE or TNA I feel that they would water down his character way to much. And it wouldn't the same Misitco that I am used to watching on CMLL. Although on the plus side it will get Mistico alot of exposure and people can see how great he actually is.

It was talked in the dirtsheets about a couple of months ago, the story goes like this. The WWE were rather intrested in him because Rey Mysterio was rather huge about him but he had just signed a new contract with CMLL and they were prepared to sue him and the WWE for breach off contract. So the WWE decided to talk to him later on down the line about it and now TNA are said to be intrested about him coming over to participate in The World X Cup.
